I have played paintball here several times over the years and it is an awesome place to play paintball. However, I went this last weekend for my brotherâs bachelor party and the staff are why it is a three instead of a five star rating. The play was really slow because the referees were clueless, we didnât start playing our first game until after one hour. When I asked one of the 12-year-old running the circus, how come we havenât started a paintball game yet, he said that there were only five referees. Mind you, there are only three fields, and four of the staff staff were inside doing who knows what. It was frustrating that our 6 to 8 time slot ended up being 6 to 9 because we didnât start playing games until 7. So, when you go, there, be aware that you will have to demand the amount of games that you will play because if not you might end up like our group of 8. If youâre doing a bachelor party ask about the bachelor run đ
Pro tip: for the average to below average paintballer you will likely only need the free bag that comes with purchase of the public open play. If you arenât wasting paint on every single round you play, I wouldnât buy extra paint at the beginning. Also, wearing a baggy jacket, pants, and a hat can reduce the amount of welts you have by 2/3. I got shot a lot of times, probably over 20, but I only ended up with 5 to 7 welts. Bring gloves to wear cause it draws blood to get shot there, but hey thatâs what makes...
Read moreThis is a pretty fun place to play paintball. There are three âarenasâ that you generally rotate through as you play. The paintball guns are well maintained and the ammo seemed nice. The staff are also friendly and help when it is needed. Unfortunately the night my group decided to go was less enjoyable due to another group not playing by the set rules. I think they need to clarify from the start about what counts as a hit and when you are out of the game, thus eliminating arguments between the referee in that game (e.g. a hit to the gun is still considered an eliminating hit). My group lost literally every game because the enemy team wouldnât die (get out of that game). I suppose thatâs one problem with an honer system in most games. It is very safe, when not in the arena you are required to put a muzzle guard on, and while in the arena are not allowed to take off your face shield. I do have a smaller head so I had a hard time keeping the mask on (even though it was the smallest one). I would recommend if you enjoy playing casual paintball, I just hope the staff read this and implement some of my...
Read moreI went for my sister and her fiancĂ©s bridal party (Iâm the maid of honor) and it was my very first time. At first I was very nervous but it was tons of fun. They have three different areas for you to play in and they rotate you and your group between all three. The staff and refs are really kind and help you feel comfortable when youâve never done it before. They do also provide extra gear if youâd like but those cost extra. You can buy extra paintballs if youâre worried about running out, and they also have free plastic car seat covers for your car when youâre done playing because you do get pretty messy. Probably the only downfall(s) would be the slight confusion of knowing if youâve pulled into the right place and parked in the right spot, and the slightly smelly helmets cuz when you play in the summer time, you will sweat! All-in-all, itâs super fun and I would definitely do it again. Word of caution, youâll probably get a welt or two from the paintballs (because I definitely did and others in my group did too) but donât let that discourage you from coming here...
