OK I have a lot of his puzzles I really enjoy them and I always select the 500 piece models as they Don’t take up so much room in my small workspace for puzzlesthe easiest to work with with my table and everything else what I am now seeing because I’m running out of puzzles to buy is that he’s taking small portions out of original puzzles and making new puzzles out of it. if memory serves me correct his Cabo San Lucas is a portion of the larger Mexico 500 piece puzzle. Well I had just finished the Mexico 500 piece and then when I got the Cabo San Lucas in the mail I figured it out real quick. I don’t know whether he’s slowing down on how much he wants to do but I noticed that he’s very involved with this Disney theme thing and I’m not interested in those. So that’s about it, other than that I just enjoy what he’s doing. One of my favorites was Costco because it had so many people in it. I wouldLove to see him put more people in his puzzles all around the...
Read moreEdit- Just want to add that I've heard from Dowdle. They are able to ship one puzzle right away. This company is so responsive. Hopefully their stock will catch up to their popularity soon. Everyone who is now hooked on jigsaws should try Dowdle. But not until I get the rest of my order please.
I would give the actual puzzles 5 stars. They are great. Actually getting them seems almost impossible. I placed an order for 5 puzzles and it was confirmed on May 2. I have received 0. Approximate shipping time was listed as 1-6 weeks when I ordered. On June 24 (about 7 1/2 weeks later) I requested information and was told it would be an additional 1-3 weeks. Today July 14 I inquired and the answer was it should ship in 2-3 weeks. I am seriously having trouble with a 3 month turn around for orders. Not one of the puzzles on the order has been available in 3 months? Definitely try out their puzzles but definitely wait until they get some control over...
Read moreLove these puzzles! They are made very well, the artwork is fantastic, and it’s fun to find the hidden touches….. the storage provided makes them a keepsake. We enjoyed seeing on Discovery Plus the ‘ Piece Maker ‘ series showing the inspiration behind the art, as well as the work it takes to design and execute it. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I have purchased other Dowdle puzzles in the past that are part of my permanent collection. I keep and re-do them yearly. A few I have: The Salt Lake Winter puzzle is my oldest (2001), Comerica Park was perfectly captured for the Detroit Tigers, the Costco puzzle made me wonder how many of Mr. Dowdle’s friends and family are also included in the shopper’s depictions! I have just started the gorgeous Exodus puzzle, another great eye/brain exercise, as if I...
