So I went to rent a space and was told come in on market days any time from 8 to 4 and come fill out the paperwork. I drove over 45 min and came at 315 figuring it would be less chaotic and winding down. I was not told what building out of the 3 they were in and from what I could see up front is not clearly marked anywhere . It was 330 by the time I walk through the left building my boyfriend walk through the right we figured one could start the paper work while the other caught up once office was found. When I asked the woman at the glass is this the office she reluctantly said yes and I told her I was her to fill out the paper work for an indoor spot . To which she said hold on went to the next office for a min then came back and said sorry we actually close ion 15 min and we already shit down the computers for the day. I told her I called on Wednesday and was told any time and that this is super bad for me cuz I’m in the middle of moving and needed to be able to go in and off load all my goods stands and displays durning the Monday in store set out slot b4 Tuesday move . I will not have the truck space storage space or man power to have that stuff Tuesday . I asked is there anyway I could fill out the paper work. At this point my boyfriend caught up and seen that I didn’t even finish my sentence when a voice in the other office said no see I would be able to put her in the system. My boyfriend was already done at this point and said let’s go. The fact that the lady who is in change can’t even stand up from her desk to shake the had of possible future venders that they would be benefiting from and introduce her self at the least. Let alone show they want you there. Maybe try to figure out a solution to the problem And what we can do to resolve it. I was a gm of a restaurant before Covid and I would be embarrassed if one of my managers acted this way and didn’t care about the people who wanted to join the team or supported us. That’s just bad business and a good way to turn people away. One thing is for sure I will no longer be coming there after today. Been a out side vender a couple of times and thought what a great place right away. So now I’m disappointed ,out 2 hours , tolls back and forth for nothing, and gotta figure out a new plan on the fly with an already bad situation . I thought this was a family and community oriented company. Guess not for outsiders . Was looking forward to Thant and the starts of a...
Read moreWent there today to setup outside. It was a decent day. Right now their prices to setup is alittle cheaper than what they used to be. We were told by an employee that they're gonna be repaving the parking lot soon. I'm not sure if it will be the whole parking lot or just where vendors setup. It would be great if they would do the whole parking lot & driveways too. It's always nice that they have a ATM machine inside the front of the one building..... You never have enough money while you're there lol. It's a great place to find things that you've been looking for, even if it's an older random item. You never know what you'll find each week, half the vendors are regulars but the rest come & go daily. Some vendors will even bargain with you, make trades/deals on their sales etc. Today I didn't see many Jamie's employees walking around, like they used to.... I kind of wish I did because during the last few hours, some people were driving where the vendors were setup, but at least they went slow. I have alot of memories at Jamie's Flea Market growing up. Even if I don't setup to sell anything, I still go to walk around, get out of the house and talk...
Read moreJamie's Fleamarket is the bomb!! I've been to a few Fleamarkets, but by far, this is the best one!! Inside and outside. So many vendors, so much to look at, and you never know what you may find. Clothing, shoes, household items, electronics, cds, movies, toiletries, decorations, incents, personal protection items, plants, flowers, toys, stuffed animals, bikes, lawn care equipment, and much more. So if you like to spend a little money, and find some unique items, this is the perfect place for you! I met a guy named J.D., that sells gently used Nike and Jordan tennis shoes for reasonable prices, with unique styles, and many I've never seen before, or not in a while, and he's got AF1's too. I bought a few pairs and resold them online for twice as much as I bought them for. So if you like shopping without spending a lot of money, this is the place for you!! You won't be disappointed!! Just bring your money with you, the ATM...
