I was looking for a jeweler for all my jewelry repair needs. Thought I'd found the one - the manager started off so kind when I brought in a piece I needed buffed. I then took my wedding set to him to be sized (I had not worn it in 7+ yrs) and have a common shank put on (due to it having 3 rings soldered together). First off, I should have had them write down on the repair ticket exactly what was being done to the ring (my mistake), I waited the 3 weeks estimated and when it was done - it was too small and didn't have a common shank. The owner and the lady who I picked it up from were very agitated about my concerns over this. He begrudgingly said he would resize it but that we did not agree upon a common shank and he would not do that because the price he charged did not reflect that (obviously we had a miscommunication). Having no choice (as I did not record our original conversation, of course) I said please resize it. Less than a week later I went to pick it up and Sandi helped me (she was very kind and helpful)- it did fit, but was thin and had pitting in the gold. I left it again, and received a call from the manager several days later - very rude and aggravated and not wanting to fix the issue - but said he would try to thicken it and would give me an est. for a common shank. I waited 3+ weeks and I finally called to check on my ring - manager calls me back to let me know that the rings had fallen apart and he was going to have to add gold to fix them (I never received a price to do a common shank) - he was, again, very aggravated and not pleasant to talk to. I came in a couple days later to pick it up. He was very rude, dismissive and obviously not willing to help any further - the ring is again too small - as I said when I picked it up, the rings don't fit flush together, as they had when I left it originally - the work was not done well. It was a very disheartening experience. I spent $135 to have rings that I still can't wear, that don't even look good, I had to be made to feel bad about expecting good customer service, never an apology, and got to spend time and gas on several trips there. (but, hey - as the manager said, the shanks are a little bit thicker than they were after being cut apart and sized...
Read moreI was referred here by a patient and his wife stating they have known the owner for years and he is the most trustworthy. So I took my wedding set there to be sized and soldered together. Tom did such an amazing job, my rings are beautiful again, fit perfectly and the cost was more than fair. Also, the lady at the counter that checked in my rings kept my husband and laughing the entire time we were there and a continued smile after we left-she was so kind and funny. Love this place, will be a customer for life and would recommend to everyone wether you’re looking to buy jewelry or have your old stuff revitalized! Thanks so much Tom and family-I’m a...
Read moreI went to Anderson Jewelers today, and loved my experience. The store is easy to find and conveniently located, with wonderful signage out front and a clean and welcoming exterior and interior. The staff greeted me right away with friendly smiles, and the jewelry on display was exquisite. The owner stopped what he was doing to point out some pieces to me, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I bought a gorgeous ring - unique, lovely, and so reasonably priced for a ring of its kind and character. I'd recommend Anderson Jewelers to anyone and everyone, and can't wait for...
