Food Lion — Local services in Anderson

I ride a motorcycle and bring a backpack to put my groceries in after checkout. Everytime I walk in I get dirty looks from the all female management like I'm about to steal something. I've even been followed by a mystery shopper that literally watched my every move around the store. I used to work at a Kroger so I realize theft is always high in grocery stores but I don't appreciate being treated like a thief everytime I walk through the doors. I've been shopping here for two years. When will you recognize that I'm paying customer? After the third year perhaps? Sometimes I like to cash my credit card rewards check here for convenience. I've had the managers tell me they didn't cash checks, they've told me that they didn't have any cash once, and generally always make it difficult to fulfill their duties as described on the wall. I'm just gonna ride another mile up 81 to one of the other two grocery stores from now...

Honestly I really love this Food Lion, there’s just one cashier who just makes me want to turn around and find anyone else to check me out. She is always sitting, has short brown hair and acts annoyed at everyone else she had to show up to work. I understand no one loves work, but please don’t complain at me about everything, argue about what barcodes work (they were the same numbers and all that). Didn’t even bother to card me for alcohol because she knew she accidentally forgot some of my items and didn’t add them to my order. I usually have an overall good shopping experience at this location but today was awful!! The lady that checked me out was very rude!! She tossed one of my bags and balled my receipt up and tossed it to me. I feel like she was special needs so I didn't get too angry but was very upset with her. She complained the entire time while ringing up my groceries and got frustrated because she had to do a price check on one of my items.
