I found Visiting Geeks because I was trying to determine if my 10 year old MacBook Pro was worth trying to fix or if I should just scrap it and get a new laptop. Through email we looked up the serial number and specs and it was their recommendation that it was worth repairing. Honestly, I was skeptical as this laptop was so slow, it took 30 minutes to turn on and I couldn't even do zoom calls on it during the pandemic. I took their recommendation for repairing it and I'm very happy I did. Their recommendation was to replace the hard drive with a SSD and to add RAM and they gave me a very reasonable quote for the parts and labor ahead of time. When I got it back I couldn't believe how fast it was and how well it was working. It started right up, it was unbelievably fast, I was able to do zoom calls on it and able to open large files without an issue. I was very happy with their work, it was repaired quickly, they were responsive to my original inquiry, and the work came in at the price they quoted. I'm so happy I listened to them and got my macbook repaired and didn't scrap it for a new one. I have a iMac that I'm going to be bringing back to have serviced by them also and I would recommend...

Lied lied lied I fixed with no parts myself after research and they were going to charge my money for what parts. So went there keyboard came out of my laptop i thought it yanked put wasn't sure. They quoted 90.00 for parts and repair. They wanted me to leave deposit I said no i qant to see whats wrong 1st. After 90 for labor and repair i went home researched and found out that the keyboard just needs to be put back in place took my less that a minute more like 10 seconds in real it works now and cost me less time to find solution then to drive the 2 blocks beware how could you lie and take advantage of someone you could have charge like 10 to 15 to put back in place. We contacted the Visiting Geeks for an unresponsive laptop. Nancy called back the next day to schedule a drop off appt. Brought the laptop in the next day at 11AM and received a call that it was done at 2:30PM the same day. They found a dead hard drive and replaced it with a SSHD and installed Windows 10, as we lost all software. Everything that was done was fully explained in laymans terms.
