Mr. Takeout — Restaurant in Andover

I've been wanting to come to this place for a long time. Finally stopped by today, ordered a small order of their garlic parmesan wings, small cheese steak, and a Greek salad with grilled chicken. Total was $42. A little bit on the pricey side IMO for only 6 wings and a standard 6 inch sub (salad was priced right). Was more excited about the wings than anything. Normally I try the plain wings at first at a restaurant I never been to but this time I decided to try their garlic parm.... Meh..... Not worth the price. Crunch factor was there. But the chicken didn't have flavor on the inside. The sauce was okay, subtle garlic flavor and could of been heavier with the cheese. Nice buttery flavor. But overall pretty weak compared to other places with garlic parm wings. Steak and cheese was bland, pale, and cheeeeeewwwwy. Not sure if they didn't cook it long enough, or if it wasn't shaved thin enough, or if they didn't chop it enough but it was so chewy i had to rip it with my hands.. and I almost choked at first bite from the chewiness. I knew I wasn't going to be a fan when I first opened it and saw it was a pale brown/gray color. And they could of added some salt or garlic-salt because only the cheese gave it some salt..... No flavor whatsoever. Grilled chicken Greek salad was the best thing of the 3 I ordered HOWEVER, they forgot to add the onions I asked for. On the plus side they stuffed the container with the greens, and it had real greens like spinach not just iceberg. Just wish it was more than leaves, canned black olives, feta, and tomatoes; reason why I asked for the onions to begin with because I saw on the menu it didn't bring it....Usually when I get greek salads they come with olives (kalamatas or mixed), feta, onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes at the very least. Sometimes even peppers. Dressing was my favorite; creamy style greek and they served it with pita bread. Chicken was good, wasn't the best per say but better then the steak and wings that's for sure. Staff is friendly, nothing bad specifically on their service at all......I'm going to go back one more time before I draw my final conclusion, maybe try a pizza and a couple of other...

Good delivery, botched execution. I will not be going here again, at least in the context of wings. I can't speak for the rest of the menu.

Let me start out with the good things. I got the chicken wing meal. The food itself was pretty good. The chicken and french fries were fried well. I have no complaints about the quality of the product. I went to pick up my order 10 minutes after I put it in online and it was ready when I got there. No waiting, just a quick in and out.

Onto the bad things. The quantity of wings was very disappointing. Six wings cost 14.55, which is already expensive to begin with. The chicken wing meal (15.59) had five wings. The rest was loaded with french fries. Why did I pay more, but received less of the primary product that I wanted? The sauces that I ordered on my wings were in containers and not on the chicken itself. These weren't side sauces, they were the primary things I ordered. So I had to cover them myself after pickup. Afterwards the meal was good I feel like I didn't get the product that I asked for. The place was empty when I got the food, so I feel like it was just blatant carelessness. I feel like it's not too much to ask for my food to be prepared the way I asked for it to be prepared. These don't feel like mistakes, they felt like...
