I love the food at this restaurant and always look forward to going when I'm in town. During a recent trip to the area, I was so excited to bring my family to my favorite breakfast place! I'd been telling them about it all weekend. What an unnecessary disappointment! For this, they get 2 stars. We waited for seating for over 30 minutes (which is fine), only to find out that we could not/would not be accommodated (NOT FINE). They definitely need to work on their seating policy and communication. There is only 1 table in the restaurant that seats 6. If this table is taken, you need to split up your party. There are also booths made for only 4, regardless of whether you could fit more, a few seats for two, and the counter. Customers who frequent the place know all about the "rules", but, if you don't come here often, it is more stressful than it needs to be to get a seat for breakfast. Something as simple as putting a sign in the window to let people know about their seating "rules" would go a long way. It would also eliminate a lot of the confusion, frustration, and disappointment if they just took down your name and # of people in your party to help with seating and to set right expectation. I don't think that's too much to ask. Otherwise, again, I think the quality and variety of their...

A real staple amongst the community in Andover. When you talk going for breakfast in Andover, you talk Shawsheen. A small space, that can get very busy and there isn’t a good waiting area, people are jammed in to the entrance area or waiting outside. I think that’s one of its big flaws, through no fault of their own. It can also be very difficult for everyone to sit together if you are coming with more than a party of 4 as the booths do not sit anymore than 4 and there is only 2 sets of tables than can be pushed together to seat more. Counter area can probably fit 12-15. The menu is pretty extensive for a small diner and I thought the food was good. Not the best breakfast I’ve ever had but good. Prices, considering it is located in Andover, are more than fair and I feel for bang for your buck it’s very well priced. Service was great. As long as you’re whiling to wait or can get in there on an off peak time, you won’t be...

My date and I were very uncomfortable here. This breakfast spot is so small and cramped it made for a claustrophobic experience. From the moment we walking in we realized there was no room to stand and wait to be seated, and as an elderly woman entered behind us with her walker I realized there is no handicap friendly entrance. The food was good and delivered accurately, but with two extra different hairs on my one plate. That brought my attention to the cleanliness of the area and unfortunately I was sitting in front of the dishwashing station. The waitress was friendly the regular that I was bumping elbows with and that emphasized on the space available to sit with my jacket on my knee. If you don't want to feel like you're sitting at the bar with strangers then I'd reccomend trying one of their undersized booths if one ever...

1. Hash & Eggs ($9.50). "Homemade Corned Beef Hash". The eggs lacked browning but were cooked over easy as ordered. The home fries had the slimy skins left on. Hash Browns the next time. No Scali bread, but the sourdough was perfectly acceptable. The hash was fantastic! A thick slab lightly crisped up and it was 95% corned beef. Less busy at lunch today, so the sound level wasn't that bad. Update: The Hash Browns are excellent! 2. Hash & Eggs ($10.25). "Spicy Pork Hash". With the hash brown potatoes this time. They were excellent. Occasionally hash brown comes out with partly cooked bits, but this was perfect. The spicy pork hash was a huge hit with me. Not very spicy but the poblanos were tasty and the pork (shoulder) was tender and plentiful. The eggs were, of course, cooked as ordered.

Had an amazing experience here. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon at around 12 noon, and it was all packed, but the staff greeted us warmly and seated us at a tiny table. Soon after some patrons left, they offered to move us to a bigger table by the window, and I really loved this. Coming to the food, it was hearty and comforting. I had the egg breakfast with sausages and baked beans on toast. My bf had the chorizo sausage and eggs with hash brown. Both of us loved our food. Loved my morning cuppa Joe as usual. My bf loved his orange cream beverage as well and said it was refreshing. The entire place was really well maintained and the staff checked in on us from time to time! Would definitely visit again!
