Angels Food Market — Local services in Angels Camp

Great market with really friendly workers. Great selection of goods, both local and national brands. The sandwiches are great, probably one of the best places to get lunch in Angels Camp right now. I ordered the Mexicali wrap, which is basically a cold burrito. The roast beef definitely isn't asada, but the mix of salsa, lettuce, avocado, and their dressing really makes this good. The Pesto Pollo, which my wife ordered, is probably the best chicken pesto sandwich I've tried. The addition of the roasted red peppers really put this...

Wow, it was great! I went there hoping to find some sweets for my kids Easter. They had more than enough stuff. I got scones, cookies, brownies, and decadent cinamon rolls. (Three of my four daughters gave up sweets for lent.) I hope to reintroduce them to sugar the right (over the hill) way.

I also picked up some sushi that I heard is fantastic, plus some meatballs and a cold beer salad for later tonight.

It is a small market, but really, REALLY nice.

Ah-may-ZING sandwiches! Slap-your-mom-betray-your-best-friend good!!!! I do the build your own with hot pastrami with havarti cheese (which no other place out here can do) and the chorizo breakfast burritos are frickin’ phenomenal. Not to mention...YOU CAN TEXT THEM YOUR ORDER!!!!

One flaw...I can’t find the deli menu anywhere online. Unless I’m blind or Google inept, where are we supposed to gaze and drool over the deliciousness?!?! Link if possible for those who don’t have a paper menu readily...
