Paul Coca and the rest of the Coca family at Firewall is amazing! We were looking for the right jeweler and ring for months. Everywhere we went we were seeing the same ole same ole styles and/or coming across very pushy sales people and couldn’t connect with (which was important to us). After our extensive search we had FINALLY found a beautiful and unique setting, but again, was feeling pressured by the sales person. In the meantime…our dear friends have been going to Firefall for years, has stunning custom pieces created by Paul and has also purchased excellent quality non-custom jewelry. They kept telling us how incredible Paul and the rest of the Firefall family is. They highly suggested it was well worth the trip up to Angels Camp. Since we still hadn’t found our jeweler but found the setting we did some research on retail locations. Low and behold, Firefall is one of the few retailers in Northern CA! We then gave Firefall a call and had a great conversation with Paul. He understood what we wanted and actually listened to us! My now fiancé felt this was the right jeweler for us and all the arrows were pointing to Firefall. Mind you, this is all happening during the height of COVID. In that first conversation with Paul, we expressed to him that we have been ultra careful about putting ourselves in a public setting. Not only did he accommodate us prior to store opening so we can feel more comfortable, but did his due diligence prior to meeting him for the first time. He had selected some beautiful center stones that were within the budget range we advised. We firmed up exactly what we wanted for the setting and made some modifications so the ring would be unique to us. When the setting came in Paul emailed us. We scheduled another appointment (again accommodating us so we feel comfortable) to finalize the center stone. This time we were able to view the stones in the setting and had pulled a couple more for us to view. My fiancé and I agreed on our favorite and firmed up the remaining details. The whole experience with Paul and his family was incredible! We have certainly found our lifetime jeweler and couldn’t be more pleased. Paul is talented, professional and down to earth. Needless to say, it’s well worth the drive to Angels Camp from the Bay Area. I had heard amazing things about Firefall consistently in the past growing up, so I decided this would be my first stop on searching for an engagement/wedding ring. Turns out it was my only stop and forever will be. When I approached Paul on what I wanted he immediately started sketching out designs, endless possibilities and everything he could do for me. Had the best experience at Firefall Jewelers. There were a few options for jewelers, but my fiancé asked to look at Firefall in Angel’s Camp. I am so glad I did! Paul the owner and his wife were not only attentive to every detail and question I had, they were just as excited about the ring creation as we were!
