Walgreens — Local services in Anna's Retreat

This is the cleanest and the most tidy of those big name american shopping brands that are in the territory. The employees are also on the happier side of nice, so that's a great change in comparison to Kmart. They also move the lines which is appreciated......like people stocking the aisles jump in to help the registers and that security guard at the front helps to direct people, wow. The rest of St. Thomas needs to take a class from these folks on customer service.

We especially love the pet section here. If you are turned off by high pricing at VIP pet supply, How about your pet or Style a dog, come here for pet needs, especially chew bones, treats or toys. The downside to this place is the pricing of everything else, and the quality of the items on the shelving. Be very careful if you buy anything perishable, I've seen expired milk items in those refrigerators and on one occasion, when the hubby and I were looking for those individual ice cream haagen-dazs cups, we found them here however they weren't fresh or frozen. If you think you are going to get a great deal here with liquor it may not be the case. Pricing is still way cheaper at Kmart. Rude Employee – Disappointing Experience

I had a disturbing experience at this Walgreens. I opened a nail polish/tester — there was no sign saying not to, and no indication that it wasn’t allowed.

Instead of calmly addressing it, the employee immediately yelled at me in a hostile and aggressive tone. What made it worse is that their behavior felt racially motivated — the tone, body language, and attitude were clearly different from how other customers were being treated.

There’s no excuse for this kind of treatment. Racism has no place in customer service — or anywhere. I’m extremely disappointed and expect Walgreens to take complaints like...

I arrived in St Thomas without any medication due to having my carry on luggage stolen at the Orlando airport. My doctor called in the needed prescriptions and this Walgreens filled them. My insurance company was closed and can basically never be reached by phone so we had to bypass insurance (they should have covered due to the theft). The store itself was impressive.
