This place was an unexpected find. Glad we stopped in! We always stop in when we travel through and always find a treasure or two to take home. The only complaint I have is the lack of courteous customer service. Itās downright terrible. They have an enormous selection of outside decor, lawn art, and more! We visit a lot of antique shops/stores, Whoopee Bowl had lots of vintage and antique items that we donāt normally see elsewhere. Lots of iron stoves, iron heaters, old store fixtures, clothes and so many more unique pieces! The access is tricky if you have an RV but there is room to pull through the front gates. If you miss that or are unsure, continue another 200 feet or so, youāll see a sign for whoopee parking. We parked along the road. Itās along a residential road, lots of cars but we found a spot just as we rounded the back of the building. It was a little hike to the back entrance but not bad. There is another RV sized space right at the back entrance as well, which we didnāt spot until we got to the back gate. Stop in, youāre bound to find something!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have driven by this place a million times, always wanting to look at the weird outdoor statues. I thought that's all they sold. I didn't realize it was an antique market!!! ššš I love vintage pieces. Each piece has a story. As I look at vintage pieces I wonder what it's story is. Who rode in that snow slay and how did it end up here? How many kids did this sled bring joy? What little family owned the ox cart and where did it take them? Whose hands worked this 1920's cash register and where was it housed? Who was the lucky wife who owned this beautiful, early model refrigerator? Who baked in this beautiful stove of simpler times? Who danced and sung while this old record player played? How much joy did this early washing machine bring to the one who owned it? What little baby was pushed in this 1930's stroller and who did they grow up to be? My mind raced with wonder here. We spent an hour and a half in this place looking and talking about treasures of old. It was was a nice little history lesson for the kids.We would have stayed longer but we had a couple kids who were hungry and a couple who were freaked out by the vintage mannequins around every...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst time visiting the storeāsuper funky, and I loved the whole vibe. The gentleman working was cordial and open to reasonable price negotiations.
Thereās a wide range of items, from late 1800s potbelly stoves and tons of vinyl records to quirky tchotchkes, mannequins, and a surprising number of bull skulls. The biggest takeaway for me was the condition of some of the items and the pricing. It looks like thereās enough dust and dirt on many of the upstairs items to fill the Grand Canyon. Vendors clearly arenāt updating prices or making much effort to move things. For example, thereās an entire section of used books and magazine cutoutsāmost of which are in poor shape due to exposure and neglect. Personally, Iād sell the whole lot for $50 just to free up the space for more appealing inventory. I canāt imagine anyone pulling off I-10 with an urgent need to buy a dust-covered, water-damaged 1996 National Geographic for $10. Either way, cool spot and...
