I have always been impressed with Martin's Grocery. I don't get the opportunity to go very often only when I'm in the area. I couldn't believe the variety of goods you have to choose from. I've enjoyed your fresh baked products. I have purchased your fine produce. What I have enjoyed the most in your selection of your full service meats and seafood foods. I was in your store on Monday shortly after arriving here for the holiday and I purchased some baby back ribs and they turned out fannomional. I had looked at your full service case and seen you had some Alaskan smoked salmon. I went back their to your store and had went to see if you had any available and you had 1 piece in your case and I was looking to purchase 4 pieces. Your meat and seafood sales associate immediately was on hand to greet me and offer any assistance that I would need. I explained that I was wanting 4 pieces of your Alaskan smoked salmon and you only had one. She immediately said she would cut and marinate me my requested salmon to complete my order. She was very prompt, friendly and very service friendly. I have taken the time to browse your entire store. I was beyond impressed with the amount if employees you always have on hand to assist your customers. I have never at any given time have I ever found your store in any shape other than clean. I've never even recall seeing a piece of paper or any hazardous material on your floor. I always come to Martin's when I come to town. I wish we had your Martin's locations available where I'm from. Also I don't remember her name but your associate who was working meat and seafood department deserves a reward of some sort for her exceptional sales. I will come back again this week before I leave.
Sincerely Jeremy...
Read moreThe problem with lock-picking is that it is such a fun hobby that it is addictive, but buying new locks to learn and practice on can be expensive. So, maybe you start to practice on your neighbor's doors when they are working their night shift, and maybe you learn their locks as well as you know your own. You never steal anything, but you start to spend more time looking for new and interesting ways to test yourself.
Maybe you start to go to local municipal buildings and testing your lock-picking skills. It's public property anyway, and it's not like you're stealing anything. The doors are easy, but the fun part is all the tiny locks on the filing cabinets, safes, and lockers.
It can be hard to know exactly where the edge is when you become that proficient at something. You may start to feel almost invincible. You might start to think you can't be caught, but then one night you forget to re-lock a desk drawer and the manager gets suspicious that he is being looked in on. He checks the camera footage and there you are, unlocking and re-locking nearly everything in the building without even realizing that there are cameras looking directly at your face.
Maybe the problem isn't with lock picking. Maybe it's with people who feel that the lock is more important than what it is protecting. It still seems unfair to be service such a long sentence for what was essentially nothing more than...
Read moreStaff is more than useless when it comes to knowing anything about where their products are located. I had to ask four staff members where the coconut 🥥 water is located. I gave up and was able to locate it myself. Nowhere near were I was directed to look. I heard a manager walking by telling the staff members that corporate is coming and to not be on their phones and make sure they are smiling and saying hi to their customers! My question is why isn’t this a daily practice? Is Martins paying you to socialize and tweet? Or are you there to help service the customers? With the tone of the conversation I would say it’s not the norm and they act on their “best behavior” when they know someone will be watching and criticizing their actions. Management should be ashamed of themselves for this action. Instead lead by example, hold people accountable and when it’s warranted praise them in public. But this just for the next two hours pretend to be a good employee is the very reason people are turning to online shopping or curb side pickups! People are tired of the two faced lack of care people are getting paid to do. Not to mention the “fresh” fruits and vegetables is something to laugh at! Martins you need...
