St. Andrew is a church and parish truly faithful to what the Body of Christ really is meant to be. It's diverse, youthful -specially considering that there's no school attached to it-,and also proudly mature in age and understanding of the faith. Not made by one single priest but nurtured by many priests during many years, along with the committed witness and stewardship of it's members and staff. Read moreA spiritual sanctuary away from the daily grind...very welcoming. Fr. Durbin always brings his all...and tries to get you smiling, sometimes chuckling but always thinking and reflecting. I make my usual excuses to why I don't want to go (too busy, too tired) but I make myself take those few minutes to get there and once I get settled, shake hands with my neighbor and sing the opening hymn...I start to relax into the moment and let my heart and soul...

Christ spoke of radical acceptance of those who are different from you. He cared for children, the poor, the ostracized, the sick, and the elderly. Jesus was a refugee in Egypt.
