The gift shop at this location use to always be my favorite place however walking into this location made me feel as though I had time traveled to the 1940s and I was entering a segregated business where minorities weren't allowed me and my 9 year old son whom is on the Spectrum were watched like a hawk we barely ever received a greeting when entering the shop just a scolding stare from the clerk, Susan she would circle around the store towards us as well as we browse at the new items in stock I think the saddest part about this experience is that I work for the company but at a different location whether I'm an employee or a patient or a visitor I'm still a human being and we all should be treated with compassion and respect & kindness as we all know the Advent Health mission statement...

My husband and I have appts at Adventhealth for several years. I often purchase lovely novelty pieces at AH Apopka Gift Shop. My highlight during our visit is seeing Ms Susan!! She literally comes from behind the counter to embrace me with a "WARM HUG!!" (LOL) She always informs me of new merchandise inside. I'm a retired senior citizen, who lives in Clermont. I want to finally give accolades to a PHENOMENAL LADY!!!!... In addition, I would like to thank Ms Susan for her excellent customer service, her professionalism and most importantly, her knowledge. I love this gift shop! They have something for everyone! Everything from cups, Vera Bradley, teleties, hygiene items, Swarovski, and so much more! They get new items often. They also have frequent discount / clearance items. The staff is always so welcoming and willing to help you find the perfect gift for yourself or a friend. They also have fresh flowers for helping your family members feel a little happier when in the hospital! I highly recommend...
