Mecatos Bakery & Café — Restaurant in Apopka

The west colonial location had me waiting until the girl finished mopping the floor and the other employee was too busy because she was talking on the phone. I had to wait ten minutes because they didn’t have a lot of things that are usually in the glass display ready and I was going to purchase another pastry but I was told i’d have to wait 25 more min. I also sat down and told them I’d be eating there but the girl brought my food in a bag. My order was also incomplete because they did not give me the sauce that comes with the order. Every other time I’ve come here the young man greets me and attends to me, he has great customer service but unfortunately he is the only one. I will not be going again because of these two girls. Lack of basic customer service skills, felt as if they wanted the place...

I am a remote worker, and I usually go to different cafeterias around to get some work done. It is not easy to find clean and reliable places to spend a few hours there while drinking a coffee or snacking something.

This place is super clean and large with steaming thought for remote workers (plugs in each seating side).

I would recommend this place for any remote workers looking to get some job done while drinking a coffee ☕️ or eating something snacks (they also sell food so if you stay longer hours I would recommend trying them).

The staff was friendly and not pushy or judgmental of someone working there. I appreciate it very much.

This place is amazing!!! We arrived at like 9 and while people were filling in we took our time to be indecisive. We ended up getting 2 carne asada stuffed arepas, 6 empanadas, a Colombian hot chocolate, a cortadito, and Postobón. Everything was piping hot and extremely fresh !!! It was all so filling the 3 of us we're barely able to finish!! This place was very pretty on the inside and the workers were very kind. Now that it's open and so close to my house I know I'll be here often!
