Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Apple Valley

Asst. Store Mgr. Denise, as well as Christi our cashier, made our trip to the high desert so spectacular I felt compelled to share those two names with the world!

So my wife and I travel to diffrent areas looking for interesting items, and this past Tuesday we went to the High Desert...Apple Valley TSC and the TSC in Hesperia...specially!

While the store in Hesperia was typical...Denise & Christi won the day!!

So we walk into the Apple Valley store, of course my beautiful wife, has to go to the ladies room...she runs out immediately saying, "OMG there's mess all over the floor, somebody must have not made it to the toilet"...since the 2nd restroom was occupied, she stayed close by, and I went looking for help...bumped into Denise, who when I told what my wife had encountered, went straight for the bucket and mop and took care of that ungodly mess!

Denise could have easily replied, "well we have a 2nd one"...but she didn't, nope not Denise, she handled it NOW!! In the moment, full responsibility for "her store"

Now about Christi, well Like I mentioned, we travel and purchase items...well $400 later...Christi had smiled the entire time she scanned our mini mountain of goodies and even reminded me about my rewards!

Tractor Supply (TSC) is one of the stores that fills a great niche for the community of Apple Valley and surrounding cities. Thy sell a lot of feed and farming equipment/supplies, but I've found them to be really reasonable for dog food, rabbit food and hay, and your regular hardware store needs. I like to work on all things automotive, and this place has been great for things such as nuts, bolts, and screws. Unlike your big box stores, TSC sells their hardware in bulk by the pound. So getting a dozen grade 8 bolts, nuts, and washers are under 6-8 bucks vs paying 4 bucks for one of these "speciality bolts" at the big hardware stores. Their hardware is neatly organized compared to the mess found elsewhere. These higher grade bolts are pricey and usually hard to find unless you go to a specialty nuts and bolts place like nutty bolts in Hesperia. They also sell a lot of specialty hardware like metal spacers, stainless hardware, nylon spacers, etc. and things that are quite pricey elsewhere for these speciality items.

It's nice to have this kind of retail store up the HD. Employees are friendly and seem to care about working there. They even have a dog wash room that includes all the supplies and even a drying station to give your dog a bath. Just a warning though with the dryer and small room size, dog hair may be flying all over the place depending...

I ordered a 100' rubber garden hose (cost $89.00) on there website at 10 AM because it said only 1 left in stock at the Apple Valley location. I get to the store at around 1 PM and was told order was canceled because they didn't have the hose. No email saying out of stock order canceled, nothing. I was pretty upset for wasting my time. I was ready to go to Home Depot down the street but decided look for (2) 50' good rubber hoses. Get to the aisle and there is the 100' hose I ordered that knowone bothered to check. Same Brand, same part number. I was upset that the employee didn't even bother to physically check the shelve. I asked to see the manager and was totally blown off by 3 employees saying they didn't know where she was. I purchased the hose I ordered and left. I will not be ordering anything from there webite in the future. Best to call and ask them to do it the "old School way" and...
