Mega Tom’s burgers apple valley — Restaurant in Apple Valley

We arrived last evening about 6 pm. I do understand that it was during dinner BUT after being in the drivethrough for over 45 minutes (line was not even long, just extremely slow) we finally got our dinner. We had dinner guests at home and didn't want to take the time to check our order which came out to over $75 dollars. We had horrible customer service while at the window as well. We ordered A salad with pastrami instead of quesadilla with add guacamole. They did not tell us they were out of guacamole which was fine on the salad. But on the taquitos they threw a few slices of avocado in place of the guacamole and as well on the quesadilla as well. When we got home we discovered the error. I called. The phone rang and rang and after my 4th attempt of calling they finally answered and all they could say is. We are out of guacamole. Would have been nice to know given we could have gone elsewhere. The real kicker is when the rude manager returned my call the next morning. (Natalie) never addressed my concerns but that they should have charged us for double guacamole which we never asked for double guacamole. She was rude and put me on hold and would not give me the owners name. Please reconsider seriously going here especially if you have people waiting on...

First off, don't confuse this place with the other Tom's in the high desert. It's NOT the same! Not many breakfast specials like the other Tom's. Only 1 with pancakes, nothing with hash browns. They try to make up for it by offering 3 eggs with their breakfast, but that's a poor substitute. Nothing offered for seniors in the way of any discounts or even senior coffee, pretty sad. Food-wise, the bacon and eggs were just okay, nothing to write home about, but not bad. A good portion of hash browns, bacon was a little cold, but cooked perfectly. The salsa was watered down, and not too much flavor. All in all the food was okay, I guess, but I gave only 3 stars because of the lack of choices for breakfast specials and no senior deals. I don't think I would go back to this location again, at least not for breakfast. I'll stick to the other Tom's locations. I've got burgers here and they were great, but breakfasts leave a little bit to be desired. The girl behind thet counter wasnt very friendly. She wasnt rude, just not the friendliest. No smile. My husband had the cheese burger and fry combo for under $9. , and I had the Patty melt sandwich! They were both delicious, I didn't have to order me some fries, as his side of fries fed us both, and our doggos! 😀 the cheese burger was juicy, and the patty melt was not greasy!
