Dr. Wang has been by OB/GYN for the past 13 years and helped deliver my three kids. I’ll have to admit that at first, we wanted to change physicians because of his long wait times. However, sharing our experiences with friends who have also gone to him, we realized that the reason behind the long wait times was that he truly cares for the well-being of his patients and often goes above and beyond to explain and educate his patients about their conditions. We became more patient and understanding about the wait times as we knew the wait was worth it. We truly respect Dr. Wang’s work ethic and skill as a physician. Dr. Wang is extremely knowledgeable in his field and a very experienced and skilled surgeon. His stitching skill is superb and unparalleled. I have never heard of any other OB spending over 30 minutes just on postpartum stitching. My husband and I are also very thankful and impressed by Dr. Wang’s keen judgment and quick hands when he saved and freed our first born, whose neck had been wrapped around by the umbilical cord by three full loops. I had a deeply uncomfortable and confusing experience with Dr. Kuan-I Wang. My appointment was delayed by over 2 hours, and the communication throughout the visit was poor. I went in for a pelvic exam and urine test, but without clear explanation or verbal consent, Dr. Wang performed additional exams, including a Pap smear I was not informed about. He also touched areas like my face, abdomen, and legs without making me feel safe or respected. When I voiced confusion and discomfort, he forcefully lowered my arms and continued the exams. At checkout, he raised his voice and dismissed my concerns by citing his credentials. His assistant later apologized and helped me cancel future appointments. I left feeling violated and unheard.
