Outstanding Service at Archie Auto Repair

While heading to Tucson from Illinois in our ProMaster van, we ran into some engine trouble along the interstate. We pulled off in Archie, Illinois, and searched for a nearby repair shop—Archie Auto Repair came up. We managed to limp the van to their shop, hoping they could at least do a quick diagnostic.

To our relief, they welcomed us right away and quickly identified the issue: misfiring due to bad coil packs. It was a Friday, and we were fully expecting to be stranded for the entire weekend in 10-degree weather. But to our surprise, they got us in immediately and expedited the repairs to get us back on the road that same day.

Not only was their service fast and professional, but they also went out of their way to make us comfortable. They let us bring our dogs into the warm waiting room so we didn’t have to leave them in the cold—something we truly appreciated on such a frigid day.

The team went far above and beyond anything we expected—not just in speed and service, but also in fairness. The cost was very reasonable and honest, especially given the circumstances.

Responsive, honest. They get your vehicle in when they say they will, are up front about what can't be fixed or if a repair is going to have excessive cost. Good communication. I don't feel taken advantage of or talked down to b/c I am female. Pleasant, clean, professional.
