Huntoon Point — Local services in Area E (Chilliwack River Valley)

I give it three stars because the trail can only be hiked with snow equipment. There is so much snow people were snowboarding when I went and backcountry skiing. The bathroom was definitely unsanitary, but it may get better as summer progresses, just be aware of that factor. I didn’t see any trail start signs… or the trail… but again it was all covered in snow. Based on the mountains I could see from the parking lot; the view was gorgeous, but I was directed by an employee to give it a couple weeks and let the trails melt down! I would only recommend this right now if you have snow spikes and sorta don’t mind not knowing where you are going because signs are all covered. However, even in that capacity you run the risk of sliding...

This spot has gorgeous scenery. There are different trails that vary in distances. The trails weren't too busy when we visited in late July. The mountains are capped with glaciers year round. You can see waterfalls off in the distance as well as lakes. I wouldn't reccomend bringing strollers or wheelchairs, but this trail isn't all that difficult...

Wish I could give this 10 stars. Absolutely gorgeous day in August. Trail is manageable for most people (did this with 69 year old woman).

The views are amazing and you won't regret it...
