Never again!! 1) We had blood stained sheets (see pictures) which we discovered when housekeeping dropped off a bag with sheets and a note on the 2nd day. In other words, the person setting up the room knows the sheets are blood stained and leaves them on the bed until the next day when they drop off clean sheets with a note, but without changing them. 2) Look at the picture of the refrigerator. It's disgusting. Plus it freezes absolutely everything you put it in it (after the first day, we left our half gallon of milk outside so it wouldn't freeze) The note on fridge says "DO NOT touch the temperature." We had vegetables for a potluck salad, but they froze and we had to throw them out. The toaster makes a constant unpleasant loud buzzing noise forcing us to toast our bread in the frying pan. 3) WiFi doesn't work though it was offered at other nearby locations, e.g., Chair 9 Pizza and better managed units in the area. Management doesn’t care to pay for working WiFi. 4) We were driving an electric vehicle on our way to a full day hike on day 1. The office where you get your key is in Maple Falls, which is before Glacier. Our hike meeting spot was an hour past Glacier. The people in the office refused to give us our key until after 4 pm, making us drive 18 miles round trip (as the previous reviewer noted) to pick it up after the office closed in a cabinet outside the office This was pointless. Meanwhile, at the entrance of the building where the unit is, there are a very large number of lockboxes (at least 20) for people renting other units without having to drive out of your way to get a key. Why can't a housekeeper put the key in a lockbox? 5) Of course there is no place to charge an electric vehicle at the lodge. 6) We paid more in fees than we paid per night. Fees include Cleaning Fees and sales tax on the cleaning fee ($54.30), "Trust and Safety Insurance" ($22) and "Mt Baker Lodging Booking Fee" $8.93" Just those three items were $85 plus other taxes and county lodging fee totaling $125.57. By the way, despite the cleaning fee, you are supposed to wash and put away your dishes before you leave or you risk an additional night charge. I think the note capitalized PUT AWAY actually... Bottom line: If you want to rent in this building, rent from a different manager or private party, not Mt. Baker Lodging. It’s likely they take better care of their customers and the units.

Man, what a throwback.... This place was like jumping into a time machine to the past! Not much in terms of amenities, but I was okay with that, I came here for easy access to all the trails. Not much sound privacy, however... I could hear the group in the room above me, next to me, and the game room below. I probably would've given this place a '4' if the VCR worked.

Absolutely horrendous!!! For $200 a night this place is a complete ripoff. Dirty, stained sheets and towels, noisy neighbors, and very old dated interior. Seriously debated driving 3 hours home to avoid staying here, what a waste of money! Also, there are no staff onsite to resolve any sort of issue you may have. I would give them zero stars if it was possible.

First of all, having to drive 8 miles down to pick up the key and having to drive back another 8 miles to the actual location is not great. We were given a packet to check in for after hours and it had the wrong information about where to find our room. Then it also says in the papers that we must register our vehicle with the office, which was already closed at the time we arrived (8pm). The number provided went to voicemail and mentioned to call a different number which went to the wrong person. When we finally got through the person who picked up the phone was very rude and didn't help us with anything we asked. ( vehicle registration, the main room light not working) and just told us they're not emergencies and to call back tomorrow. What is service? It is non-existent here and I got yelled at for no reason. All of that for a hefty price for a one night stay. I wish I opted to just drive home instead of staying the night here. Absolutely horrendous experience and I am traumatized by the way I was treated. Will not return and will not...

We wish the outside of the property was smoke free. People were smoking near our deck which we had to use a fan to get cool air in the condo as there are no windows or AC other than the patio door and the smoke came into our condo. We had to shut the door temporarily. However, we had a beautiful view off the deck of trees and a brook. The bathroom was cramped, but it was all clean, but just needed updating. We would be willing to stay here again as it was fairly reasonable in price for a...
