Green Valley Market Place — Local services in Arnold

Subject: Poor Experience at [Green Valley Market Place located at 1238 bay dale dr, Arnold, Md, 21012]

I recently visited [Green Valley Market Place] and had a disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the establishment left much to be desired. The counters were sticky, and the floor looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in days. It was hard to feel comfortable in such an unsanitary environment.

I also noticed the staff didn’t seem very focused on hygiene. Several employees were handling food without gloves or washing their hands, which raised serious concerns about food safety.

As for the food, I ordered a sandwich, and not only was it poorly made, but the ingredients also seemed subpar. The deli meats were dry and seemed like they’d been sitting out for too long, and the bread was stale. I’ve had better sandwiches from fast food chains at half the price.

To top it off, the customer service was lackluster at best. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, with no effort made to rectify my complaints.

Green Valley has been one of the best things that has come to Arnold. My husband and I go here at least once a week for the hot bar or some form of premade dinner. We also get our weekly grocery shopping from here as the prices are great and the selection is equally comparable if not better than safeway or giant nearby. The food has been great, service is great and plenty of options.

Only complaint I have is recently they seem to be cutting corners a little more... for example, my husband and I both noticed the pot pies seem to be made with canned meats (or something not fresh.. cubed...) which does take away how amazing they were. I also absolutely loved their crab dips, but I got one recently this week and it isnt tasting the same as it did. I am hoping this isnt going to continue with the rest of their dishes and maybe its just a busier time. I was hoping to bring some.of these top dishes to Christmas dinner and for our work holiday parties, but I may have to rethink my options. This particular location is amazing. I came in on my sons birthday on a break from work, I work on a school bus and it was between schools while still on the bus. I realized after going in that I had a total of $8 cash because I had forgotten my wallet in my car. I went to the deli area to ask if they could split the small crab pretzel up from two to one so I could get a single one for my son for his birthday and I didn't have the cash for the double. He said sure and I headed to do something else while I waited for him to make me a single small crab pretzel. When I came back he had a big crab pretzel and a small single pretzel set out with the barcodes marked so i could have them for my son and my sons lunch table at school.
