We are regular customers of this establishment in Arnold, MD since it opened in Arnold, one of the things that caught our attention is that they are very modern, we also have two small dogs who love to go with us to look for their Puppachinos, and we find it is Wonderfull until today, because we never had a bad experience taking our dogs (Maltipoos) there before. We entered the establishment and immediately found the disgusted face of the cashier questioning if our dogs were going to behavier themself, to which we responded that we would only buy and left inmediatly . His attitude did not change ,so we informed him that if it was too much trouble we would leave and go buy our coffee somewhere else. We was under the impression that Rise up was a dog friendly store, I guess we were wrong. I probably will never go back again.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rise Up Coffee Roasters, it was my first time, and I was blown away by their delicious chocolate banana coffee smoothie/shake! This drink is not only a visual treat, but a treat for the taste buds as well. The creamy texture of the shake combined perfectly with the rich chocolate and banana flavors, creating a satisfying and indulgent experience. The coffee was expertly brewed, and gave me the perfect amount of caffeine to fuel the rest of my saturday. The service at Rise Up was top-notch, did catch the gals name who helped us Saturday afternoon but consider this a shoutout for exemplary service! I would highly recommend this café to anyone who is a fan of great coffee and delicious smoothies. Five stars!

I like their coffee here (which is a very redeeming factor), but it is the same options you can get anywhere, so there isn't anything too standoutish about here. I'd also say they have a good selection of food for a coffee shop, but it is average and overpriced. After having spent so much time in the south, the biscuits they use for their breakfast sandwich were so disappointing, and I'd almost classify as not a biscuit. I like the amount of sunlight in this coffee shop and it has a nice warm feel, but the tables do get a little crowded.

First time here and now we understand why the place is so popular!

There are 3 Annapolis area locations: Annapolis Town Center, Mayo Rd in Edgewater and Bay Dale Dr in Arnold. This review is for the Bay Dale location.

The atmosphere is lively and airy. There are a few tables inside and out, but this is primarily a take-out joint. It's similar to places like Naval Bagels and Uber Bagels, but with better coffee.

First off, the man with the 'stache at the register is great. He was energetic, personable and extremely helpful. My wife asked for something off-menu, iced caramel macchiato, which he happily fulfilled for her and she inhaled. She also had a blueberry banana muffin which we all found a bit odd. She said it was moist but the flavor was mostly banana so she didn't finish it.

I ordered an egg sandwich which you can have either fried or scrambled and with your choice of meat. I had a ham sandwich that overall was good, but the muffin was rather dry and there weren't any condiments available. It could be because you need to add ketchup when ordering. I don't know, I assumed there would be packets at the pickup counter so I didn't ask.

I also ordered a chocolate milk which was just OK. It was quite grainy so it obviously wasn't made with chocolate syrup.

Our friend had a black, house blend coffee who said it was quite flavorful and would get it again.

They're known for a coffee smoothie, which I didn't have but plan to try on our next trip.

The cost came to around $22 for the 3 drinks, muffin and my sandwich. Totally reasonable for...

Placed online order at 625 in the morning. Arrived at 645. Burrito which takes longer than a drink was ready and had been ready. The drinks were not, after watching a whole line of ppl order drinks and have there drinks made in front of me (15 min). I asked if my mobile order is being made. The woman said yeah we are busy though and i noticed my cup was picked up from a pile that the rest were not line up next to... it was missed. I ordered 2 beverages and it said 1 of 2. When she finally made my drink she try to send me out and i reminded her i payed for 2. Instead of trusting me or just making the small hot chocolate she argued and took time to go up to the computer to find my order from 30 min ago. Meanwhile someone in the line is now getting involved with me because im asking for my product to be made in the order it arrived?? This establishment and its costumers can confusingly go 'enjoy' themselves and there 40 min order times because noone sends there kids to jobs anymore leaving these 2 employees to fend for themselves and get frustrated with me while they making mistakes... which is a normal human thing but to talk back and have excuses is not acceptable in the service industry. I did my time in it and took my mistakes...

I don’t know how this place doesn’t have more negative reviews. I’m all about a local business, but we have been here 20+ times and every single time the service is horrible. This place is always crowded, so I don’t know why it isn’t staffed properly. I know staffing is difficult for small businesses right now, but hiring doesn’t seem like the problem here. We’ve witnessed the line out the door and the orders backed up and they had someone restocking tshirts.

Online order pickup time is irrelevant. We ordered at 9:45am with a pickup time at 10:10am. We arrived and our food was ready, but no drinks. We ate our entire breakfast outside before our drinks were finally ready at 10:40am.

We’ve also been and ordered at the counter. We’ve witnessed during an extremely busy morning what seemed like a manager stop making drinks to switch the song on the playlist multiple times. Another time, on a slow Sunday at 3 pm, we waited 20 minutes for iced coffee from a spout because they only had two people working and it looked like one of the employees was on frozen drink duty which doesn’t make any sense.

Such a bummer because we live within walking distance and the food and coffee always taste great. But I just can’t justify the...
