We loved everything about Senor Chili Arnold until they opened the new location in Severna Park and all of the "good staff" was moved. We had absolutely horrible experiences at our last 2 visits since the new location opened. On the first terrible visit, we went with friends for dinner. Food was terrible, portions were small and the dishes we loved and always ordered was not the same and we were charged (never ordered or drank) 6 shots of tequila. Unfortunately, we didn't catch it until we were home and felt it was pointless to try to get it corrected. Our second and last terrible visit was Memorial Day for dinner with my fiance. We sat at the bar and experienced rude, unwelcoming bartenders, especially the male bartender with the headband around the top of his hair. Dirty, unorganized bar, open garnish containers and uncapped juice containers in the bar fridges. Needing to ask for plates and to go and get silverware ourselves several times during our meal (apps and dinner) and in that process the male bartender says to me "You didn't have to come over here to get it, there's some over there" while pointing across the bar. We had loved the food at Senor Chile, but this time the food was greasy! So greasy the cooking oil was pooled on the plate of a steak Quesadilla (which 1/2 was left on the plate when we left) and my 3 street taco shells were so greasy, after every bite my fingers were covered with oil resulting in a pile of oily napkins. Leaving the restaurant around 7:00 the host standing at the hostest stand by the front door, was eating rotisserie chicken with his hands straight out of the grocery store container - very unsanitary a very poor last image to top of another awful experience. We are so disappointed in the downward slide the restaurant has recently taken and we will not be returning anytime soon. This location needs to seriously clean up their act. If there is a manager, they need to be fired. If they don't, they need to...

Firstly the food wasn't that it tasted bad it was they added nothing but peppers into the dish to make the dish look bigger I had to dig all of the peppers out to find my chicken steak and shrimp and when I did it was very little of each. I'm not one to complain but that was one issue on top of a few issues my main issue I had with them was the ignorance I just spent $100 with them and let me say me and my family was the only ones that were in that restaurant so we finish eating and we get take home boxes I go to the front and ask for a bag and they have the nerve to ask me for 10 cent I've never been to a restaurant where they are now charging people for bags you go to a grocery store and they charge you but you go to a restaurant no restaurants I've been to and I eat out all the time with my family have we ever been charged for a take-home bag especially after spending $100 and they had the nerve to roll their eyes at my wife when she went up and asked after I had told her what had happened. So that's why I'm giving them a low review because the ignorance and I know not all of them are like that and it's not everyone's fault but when you are representing a company you should have common respect and courtesy and some of them girls there did not possess them traits at all so they lost a good paying customer because me and my wife go out to eat all the time and we spend a lot of money every time we go out at least $100 at bare minimum sometimes 200 depending on what we're in the mood for and what we're doing but we drove from Baltimore there to the Arnold location I would not...

Marvelous Mexican restaurant. I lived in AZ for 12 years, traveled to Mexico half a dozen times, and I have enjoyed a variety of Mexican foods from different regions. The restaurant unique decor is a celebration of ancestors. The atmosphere is relaxed and festive. We dined outdoors on the sunny patio. Specializing in the Oaxaca Region of Mexico. We ordered the special, shrimp and steak taco platter. Beautifully displayed plating and delicious combined flavors made me feel like I was in Mexico. The large portion of steak was bite-sized, tender, juicy, and well seasoned. Combined with the grilled, perfectly cleaned shrimp, it is a show stopping dish! Even the corn tortillas were seasoned and had a slight crunch. Eating the roasted onion brought back pleasant memories. The chips and salsa are fantastic. We also ordered the mole' enchiladas. They were heartwarming and satisfied the soul. Two small personal preference improvements would be: 1. More mole sauce. I prefer my enchiladas smothered. 2. Whitefish instead of catfish in the fish tacos. Overall, I highly recommend and will dine here frequently. Lots of parking, friendly staff, quick service, ADA accessible. Bright, clean bathrooms, vegetarian dishes....

I’d really like to love this place, they have a lot going for it - I but I feel like every time we go, the poor service drags the whole experience down. To start with the good - we have always enjoyed the food and never left hungry. They have a pretty good menu of options and prices are pretty reasonable. Drinks - good happy hour specials and the margaritas are pretty big. Atmosphere - nice set up, very comfortable place to enjoy the meal. To the service, I just have to be honest and say it’s pretty brutal. On at least two occasions we didn’t get the food we ordered. The waitresses will leave you for long periods, don’t intuitively refill drinks, or chips and salsa, and even when you move empty glasses to the edge of the table, it doesn’t do the trick. Our waitress left us for about 20 minutes tonight, we had to ask another server for help. This is consistent. This all seems like pretty basic stuff that for some reason just doesn’t happen here. Bottom line - if you can get everyone on the same sheet of music with service, this will be a 5 star restaurant. Best wishes!

Large menu options full of authentic Mexican dishes. I ordered the Ceviche Quiebracattre that is made with shrimp, catfish, calamari, octopus, fresh lime juice, tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, avocado, jicama and cilantro. Served in a mocajete stone that is a impressive presentation. Very strong flavors that I love. I ate this with flour tortilla shells, which really made it taste delicious and mellowed down the flavors. They tortillas had to be ordered separately. The have many flavors of delicious margaritas. I definitely recommend this place to eat. The only thing that I have to complain was I ordered a Raging Bi*ch IPA and when I got it it was a hazy. Bartender agreed but said that is what came out of the tap and didn’t want to give me a replacement. Not a good decision on his part. Have fun and enjoy 😉
