I bought a 2018 F150 4×4 3.5 ltr with the 10r80 transmission, it had 68,000 miles on it. The Ford forums recommended changing transmission fluid and filter at 150,000 miles and I was at 149,980. I was experiencing some shifting issues and watched several YouTube videos about problems with the 10r80. I contacted Tim at Ashdown Transmission he told me there could be issues that might arise. He got the job, and did the work at a very reasonable price. End result, I can't even tell it is shifting gears unless I'm watching the Tach or in Sport Mode. 10r80 never performed this well.
