Two years ago (2022) we purchased a Cub Cadet Zero turn mower from the Ashdown Tractor Supply. When we attempted to load the mower into our trailer, we had some difficulty starting it because the choke lever was a little stiff and we were afraid to force it. The employees there were no help but we finally figured it out ourselves and got the mower to our property. This was apparently just a PRELUDE of things to come. We enjoyed the mower for a couple of years, until things started to break. But this isn't a review of Cub Cadet. That's an issue for another review. This is about the absolute failure of this Tractor Supply to provide even the tiniest amount of customer service to a customer who purchased a $4K piece of equipment from them. Cut to today—as I attempt to find answers to my warranty work questions. I called Tractor Supply, Ashdown to ask two questions. Is the mower covered under any warranty and who do they use for their service work? The young person I spoke to wouldn't let me talk directly to a manager. Apparently he or she wasn't taking calls from the riff raff today, so I was repeatedly put on hold so that the youngster could relay messages back and forth between much-too-important-for-trivial-concerns management-type-person and my lowly self. The answers that were finally filtered down from on high were these. Firstly, if I didn't purchase Tractor Supply's special extended warranty, I shouldn't be bothering them with such issues. Go talk to Cub Cadet. Leave us alone. Secondly, they didn't have any recommendations for service centers. I would imagine that being an AUTHORIZED CUB CADET DEALER, comes with some responsibilities to the brand AND to their customers. Let me quote from Cub Cadet's website concerning the matter: "...The Tractor Supply Company, should have local service and repair provider information available in support of their retail customers. Please contact them for this...
