We checked online and tickets were listed as $69. We drove two hours to get there at 9 am. We found tickets were actually around twice that. We ended up paying over $250 for two of us.
The web page said nothing about having to reserve a time to enter the house. The desk told us the first available time was 4:30 pm. When we started to walk away, she suddenly "found" an open time at 11:45 am.
After waiting over an hour for our entry time, the entire tour took us only 37 minutes to complete. It took us over an hour to get a shuttle back to our car and find the winery for our included wine tasting.
We got to the winery, found a parking place, and walked the half mile to the entrance. It was then they told us that too has to be scheduled, and they have no available slots for the rest of the day.
Being hungry and in need of a beer, we went to the Pub beside the Winery. We were told there was over an hour wait for a spot at the bar and twice that for a table. A look at the menu showed a simple burger and fries ran around $25.
