Sunnyside Trading not only has a beautiful collection of Asian and Indian antiques, but the service is second to none from the first communication to delivery. I purchased a very unique antique Chinese elm carved cabinet at a fair price and the seller, Klaus, gave me detailed information about where the piece came from, how old it was and how to care for it. He placed the item on hold and even took my payment information outside of office hours to complete the sale at my convenience.

From there, his delivery people were in touch with me via email and text every step of the way - some of the most friendly and courteous shipping management/delivery people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. On the day of delivery, things could not have gone more smoothly. The piece was blanket wrapped and in fine condition - it had traveled from North Carolina to Pennsylvania.

Importantly, the delivery person was clean, polite and arrived wonderfully neutral smelling - no cologne, no obnoxiously fragranced hand sanitizer or wipes, or strong laundry fragrances. I've had multiple experiences where delivery people cast such a powerful fragrance cloud that it took an hour of airing out, cleaning and running fans to get my home smelling normal again. I was SO relieved to not have to deal with that! The delivery person even complimented my home and carried the item up a flight of stairs and positioned it exactly where I wanted it.

My jaw hit the floor the first time I walked into Sunnyside Trading Co. The collection the owners have accrued over time is astonishing and their passion fills the enormous space. My husband, myself and our two small children felt welcomed and assisted as we walked through the store browsing for furniture to decorate our new home. Klaus, one of the owners and purveyors, we found to be particularly amicable, helpful and astonishingly great with names. As he showed us around, he shared anecdotes of his travels and answered the questions that arose for my husband and I.
