If I could give this gym a negative stars review, I would. Their customer service is terrible.
I have been getting mail for Andy Reed for over a year. I have marked it “return to sender”, called this location multiple times, left multiple messages for Greg(?) to return my call with no response from anyone.
None of these actions have worked.
I am still getting these letters.
I stopped by today (3/13/21) to try to resolve the matter. After asking to speak with the person responsible for billing, a man said that was him. After explaining my situation, I was immediately met with aggression by the guy on duty. He told me I needed to speak to the owner. When I told him I already tried that, he responded “I don’t know what to tell you.”
As loathe as I am to say this, I can’t recommend supporting this local business. A corporate business (like Gold’s Gym or the YMCA) would have resolved the issue immediately.
Once again, I have called your business with no one answering the phone.
I have reached out many different times, through several different ways, and this issue is still not resolved!
It's very simple, stop sending me mail for someone that I don't know.
It's really...
Read moreSo i’ve been a at this gym for 4 years. Originally the gym had carpet and was under different management, and it definitely got better with the renovation. But here are the cons, water constantly leaks from the ceiling, and that’s OK. But my main problem is the management. They do not care about members whatsoever. For example in my 4 years of going to the gym, lately the sauna has been out for 3 months straight. Never has it been like this. Other people expressed their frustration with this issue because of the 50$ price tag, but the management doesn’t care and brushes it off. You would think you get the amenities with the gym but they do not care. The gym itself isn’t the best quality but it gets the job done. The sauna was the reason why many people went to this gym, but they can’t even fix that. It’s frustrating because i know how quick old management would’ve fixed the issue and yet these people are still fiddling their fingers. I would say reconsider getting a membership here. Wait until new management or maybe wait until they start fixing Issues that will correlate the 50$ price tag. In my opinion this gyms value is 30$ membership right now. Please bring old...
Read moreWNC Barbell is a great facility for those who are looking to really concentrate and focus on their lifts without distraction. This is what you'd call an old school facility with no with frills and advertising.
The gym consists of a large number of weighted cable machines and a large number of free weights. All of which, are well maintained. Surprising to see, especially with a cable row machine that sits on the floor. You feel like you stepped back in time. There are a good handful of treadmills, bike machines and ellipticals.
I know the facility offers taekwondo and a silver sneakers program, as well as massage therapy (recommended).
I chose this facility because it is not a flashy franchise with all the added extras you don't need in a membership. It has all I need and it is also open 24 hours....
