Galactic Pizza — Restaurant in Asheville

We had 3 kids with us in a party and we ordered pizzas, mozzarella sticks, one adult beverage, sodas, cheesy bread, and notices our adult beverage never came to the table without a problem I went to the bar to pick it up. The lady at the bar and the man seemed lost. They weren't short staffed at all, I went back to the table . Another 40 mins goes by no appetizers or anything came to the table. I asked what was going on our kids were hungry and watching people that came in after us got served there food. I went to the bar again, and asked the server what was the issue because appetizers hadn't came it's been an hour the young girl tried to blame it on their system. But in all actuality they never sent our order and then one lady finally sent it to the kitchen and we watched the ticket finally print. We weren't apologized too or offered a discount and we decided just to leave our kids were in tears and very frustrated. When I decided to cancel the young man at the computer was cashing us out for our drinks, as the young lady was telling us the drinks were comped. I stated maybe the staff needed to communicate a little better. It was the worst experience I have had there and the management that was there didn't offer an apology or any discount for this mess up. It's disappointing seeing as I often go to this location. The young lady trying to blame it on the system was the worst me and my friend are both servers and we knew exactly what happened. Then she told us the manager was on the phone as well......why not mention what you had done to a family with small children. No accountability....if you have ever been here then u know they only deliver your food no refills, no servers, you have to go to the bar, so the job couldn't be this...

What an absolutely stellar pizza spot tucked away in Candler. The building itself looks like an old warehouse or CrossFit gym from the outside but they done a lot of work on the inside and it's quite impressive. Love the decor with all the galaxy theme artwork.

We came here at lunch and you ordered at the bar. Apparently that was not the normal so maybe they were shortstaffed. All of the staff that were there were incredibly friendly and hard-working. They were welcoming and patient with our group of seven. I also heard that they were bringing back lunch slices which seem incredibly affordable because they are gigantic. One is certainly enough for a meal.

The tables are a little bit strange, but they work and it wasn't busy. The place itself was very clean despite only a few staff working. Some outdoor space too.

I ordered the spinach salad and it had a ton of onions and tomato and bacon and feta. A little hard to mix up in the bowl, but overall a really diverse and delicious salad. Their balsamic was thick, but tasted, homemade and delicious.

We ordered the pesto chicken and veggie pizzas. The large were quite big and fed seven people with a little leftover. The pesto chicken had a ton of chicken and tomatoes, and the ingredients were of high-quality. The veggie had a bunch of veggies, including broccoli, which I'm not a huge fan of on pizza. The artichokes and olives and spinach were delicious as was the sauce....

Been there 3 times. First 2 great. Nice family place. 3rd time I walked out. At lunch two employees kept telling me they will take my to go order in a moment. Well after a while it gets old. A lady walks up and the bar lady that kept telling me just a minute took this lady's order right away. So I just walked out and went another pizza place. Next time if I go in and see that same lady at the bar I will just go to another place. All I wanted was one large pie and it seemed to much for her to even ask. Past experiences was great. Will go again but just keep an eye on who helps. Before was a small blonde that was multitasking incredibly well (super busy)but the bar lady during lunch (heavy set with stomach exposed,her outfit not being mean) not so. Highly recommend the place but that's life. We all have one of those days. This was one. Other two times there Google did not ask for review, each of those times as super busy they were that little blonde was/is a valuable employee i would have given...
