My fiancé and I purchased the Mitsubishi Montero on April 16th. It drove off the lot just fine. Here are pictures of the Montero FOUR DAYS LATER!!!!! This is 25 miles north of Ironton on St. Rt. 93 at 1015 at night while on my way to work. The engine completely blew up. Thank god none of our 6 kids were in the vehicle. We had to walk a pitch black st rt 93 at night to get in service and find a mechanic. Once we found a mechanic and he towed it to the garage where it still sits he advised us that it is obvious the vehicle had "water glass" poured it in it to make the car run. After doing research this makes total since the man was simply trying to get a sale. I was forced to call off work that night obviously. The next day (day five after purchase) I called this 'dealership' scam artist. I advised Mr. Bowling what had happened to see what options we had. His answer NONE. He sells cars as is!!! I also advised Mr. Bowling of what the mechanic stated about the water glass. The man literally LAUGHED AT ME! I also told Mr. Bowling if we had no options we would need to contact an attorney to see if we had any options from a legal end. Mr Bowling said go right ahead and to NEVER CONTACT HIM AGAIN. I will happily comply with Mr. Bowling's request. So here we are two days later the mechanic does not even know if it can be fixed. We are a lower to middle class family with 6 kids and had to have third row seating. we thought we got a decent deal but instead we got taken by a scam artist who won my fiances heart with his sob story about his recent heart issues and not making many sales due to the virus. We are now broke our vehicle we bought may not be able to be fixed if it can it will be at least $1500. This needs to be stopped immediately!!!! I just thank god none of our kids were with us especially the 3 6years and younger. He also obviously deletes any negative reviews as our reviews on facebook have been deleted and we have been blocked. Hopefiully this wont be deleted and will help prevent people from having to deal with an experience similar to ours. NOONE SHOULD EVER BUY ANYTHING HERE!!!! Unfortunately I have to rate this with a star to be able to post. Otherwise I would rate it -3000 for each dollar he...
Read moreI had been looking and looking for a nice used car. I had been to several car lots and even looked for private seller vehicles. NOTHING was clean (as if people don’t care anymore about their business), description of vehicles were vague and NOT truthful!! Vehicles had rough exteriors, rust spots, chipped paint, dents that were never pictured or mentioned. I could go on and on!!
Mr. Bowling’s advertisement on google is what led me to go check out his inventory because he had vehicles that were priced in my budget range. When I pulled in we immediately connected. Very nice & kind, informative, and very helpful!!
I found a car that made me happy and that’s what mattered most to me! It has almost everything on my list that I wanted! I just couldn’t pass on this vehicle! So I bought it! Love it! 2011 Subaru Legacy.
Thank you so much Mr. Bowling! Pleasure doing...

I drove 1.5 hours to check out a Hyundai Veloster that was listed for $4895. Get there & the car won’t go. It’s in drive but won’t move. FINALLY, gets going but has NO power. Get back to the lot & tell them of the problem. His response was “it might need a transmission, they’re only about $200.” There were so many things wrong with that statement alone that made me take off, as fast as I pulled in. I commented on the cars post on Facebook to let others know about the issue & they deleted my comment as well as blocked me. Ashland has a bunch of buy here, pay here’s that I’m sure will treat you better than this place. Definitely buy at...
