THIS IS NOT A LEGIT OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE!!! If I didn't know better, I would swear it's a knock off! The ambiance is awkward, server Tiffany, told my aunt that they only had caffeinated coffe but could do half coffee and half water, because that's what decaf is...WAIT! ✋ WHAT??!? Then, she brings our the soggiest fried mushrooms I've ever laid eyes on, "remade" it , meaning the threw those same soggy mushrooms back in the fryer and brought them out to me, still soggy but burnt. I haven't yet even gotten to the main meal.
My husband and I both ordered 9 oz sirloin steaks, med well. Both received well done, dry steaks, ice cold, along with cold asparagus, cold mashed potatoes,and cold mac&cheese. We asked if we could have hot food, and our steaks cooked to med well not well. So they brought us med rare...I know this sounds unbelievable, that's exactly what I said, but trust me....I wish our visit hadn't gone this terribly. Also, there's more. So we could see blood all over our steak and plate, cut in, even the manager saw how undercooked these were so he takes them back, leaving our side's to get cold...AGAIN! And guess what they brought us out this time? 2 MORE WELL DONE STEAKS! Enough is enough. We don't want this anymore. Our server comes out and tells us everything's been taken care of, they were comping our entire bill. How nice! We don't have to pay for food we didn't eat! Especially after driving for over an hour to get there. Oh, but wait....here comes the manager with our bill?? I was just told 2 seconds ago that there was no bill...but, it was by the lying server who told my aunt that decaf co fee was just full strength co fee watered down.....so the bill had the appetizer taken off but that still meant we were expected to pay almost $40 for food we sent back 3 Times and never got correctly made, and didn't eat or take home?? I think not! I refused to pay after being told it was all "taken care of" and never made right. This place, the servers, the manager, and the food are awful. We will never be back....
Read moreWe have not been to an Outback Steakhouse in many years, but we kept seeing this ad on TV for a Sirloin steak and chook ribs for $16.99. We went for a late lunch this week, and there were only 2 other families inside eating. We were seated in the bar area with the bartender as our waitress. We were handed 3 menus, the regular one, one shaped like a boomerang and the Aussie specials. Since we were there for what we had seen on TV we asked what chook ribs were. The bartender stopped the manager to explain the rib dish to us, which sounded good, so hubby and I ordered the "special"-sirloin steak and ribs meal. I will say the Blooming Onion was delicious. The salad we ordered with mustard vinaigrette dressing. I guess they changed that since the last time we were there because it was bland and tasteless. When our meals arrived I was in shock to see that they were able to get rib bones in these chook ribs so I made a comment to the bartender about how they look just like real ribs She looks at me and says, "They are real ribs. Did you want the chook ribs, I can get you an order of those if you want?" I told her that's what we ordered and she said she thought we wanted the regular rib meal. Anyway.... it was a mess of miscommunication. Our $16.99 meal turned into a $26.99 meal and I brought my ribs home to the dogs. Needless to say, we will not be visiting Outback anytime in the...
Read moreThe property owner doesn’t value his customers whatsoever. As a human being I’ve never been spoke with so much disrespect. Upon arrival we counted five tables that hadn’t been cleaned, and asked if we could sit in the bar area with two available tables that were already clean, his response was he had no one to wait on us, and everyone knows the bartender waits on that area. In addition, he told us that we would have to go out and wait in the cold because of COVID and it was a government mandate. Okay understand the COVID regulations, but not having to do that when there were tables available, and even pointed them out to him. Lastly, we had two people come in after us and made reservations just as we did walking in, and I guess out of me asking and complaining about all the tables being dirty and the ones available in the bar area, he let that other couple go before us, and when I’d ask him why he let them go before us, he tried telling me they called when I heard them ask for a table just as we did as I was standing by the check in. To end, he couldn’t get us a table because he had no one to wait on us, and he did this with a terrible attitude! That’s how an owner wants to run his business? He just lost a few value customers.
