Ashville House Quilt Shop — Local services in Ashville

They fit a lot in this tiny little store. A really nice large selection of backing fabric that's 108 in and I think they're pretty much the largest selection of backing Fabric in the state. They have a large selection of solid precuts as well as pattern free Cuts in both jelly rolls and layer cakes. Some charm squares to boot. You will find interesting additions like binding bias tape which I never seen before but found really interesting. Decent selection of Moda grunge blenders and they also do machine quilting and have a good selection of a variety of pre-filled bobbins and thread in various sizes...

I've been quilting for almost 40 years. When I first started quilting it seemed like it was easy to find a friendly neighborhood quilt shop. Now, not so much. Everything has moved online or to big box stores. So I was delighted to find this quilt shop in Ashville. The shop is located in a quaint, historic home on the town square. We stopped here on a road trip and it was a WONDERFUL stop. The ladies were warm and welcoming and Tiffany gave us a tour of the shop. We also discussed our favorite machines and threads.
