I recently visited Level Up Games, and I was blown away by their amazing selection of Magic: The Gathering cards, Dungeons & Dragons related items, and board games. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to help me find exactly what I was looking for.
The store was well-organized, making it easy for me to navigate and find what I was looking for. They had an impressive variety of Magic: The Gathering cards, including rare and hard-to-find cards. The Dungeons & Dragons section was equally impressive, with a wide selection of books, miniatures, and other related items. And the board game selection was fantastic as well, with many of the latest and greatest games as well as classic titles.
But what really stood out to me was the staff. They were all passionate about gaming and were eager to share their knowledge with me. They made great recommendations based on my interests, and even helped me learn how to play a new game. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and I left the store feeling inspired to dive into my new purchases.
Also if you're a commander player the scene here is very casual and friendly so I wouldn't hesitate to...

Saw there was a new game store in town and stopped by to take a look. I was primarily interested in their GW stock. I've never in my life seen a store with such a wide range and in stock of warhammer kits and accessories both 40k and A0S - even official GW stores. Their range of Marvel Crisis Protocol in stock is similarly comprehensive. What really got me was their excellent stock of board games and LCG. They have games that I have had a hard time tracking down, kickstarter exclusive games, etc. I spent literally an hour looking at their board game range. On top of this, Ian, the employee working that day, was super friendly and knowledgeable. I spent another hour learning/playing new games with him. They've got even more stuff from RPG books/accessories to One Piece miniatures. They have gaming tables for wargames and boardgames/card games, and they hold weekly game nights for different things (AoS Mondays, 40k Thurs and all-day Sat, board game open play all day saturday).
For anything tabletop related there's no other place in town I...
Read moreCame in today to relearn the basics of Warhammer today and was my first time coming to this location. Even though it’s way smaller than the Duluth location, the amazing and friendly staff make up for the smaller size! AJ was so kind and wonderful to my boyfriend and I. He was very kind and was happy to answer any questions we had plus explain the Pokémon event that was also taking place as well. He also introduced us to 2 other staff member(I’m so sorry but I forgot your names) who were just as sweet and helpful. They even offered to help me learn how to play MTG even though I’m a clueless bonehead that decided to spend a ton on cards a year ago and have zero idea how to play. Because of the amazing staff I do plan on becoming a regular at this location. Thank you again guys! Also the woman that was the Pokémon judge was also very sweet and kind as well. I don’t think she’s employed there but now I’m also kinda interested in checking out Pokémon...
