Amici at The Falls — Restaurant in Georgia

I went here on 11/16/24 for a birthday get together and it was in a private room so your experience may be different if you are going there to eat in the restaurant area. It seemed like a nice place and the room was suitable for the event. I was disappointed in the service and the food quality. There was approximately 25 to 30 people and we had one server. The server was polite and she seemed to know what she was doing but it was just too many people for one server. She could not handle everyone's request in a reasonable amount of time working alone. Our food came out less than hot most likely because it sat for a little while before she got to us. Our wings were wrong so sending them back caused us to wait even longer and even then they sent the wrong dressing so we waited again for that. The young lady was doing her best and I put this part on management not the server. She should've had more help. Then after having so so food at room temperature and having to wait for everything, the bill had the tip included which was labeled catering. The tip was 30% which came to $18.55 for 2 of us. I didn't see where 30% was justified considering the service provided. I paid it because I didn't want to make a fuss at someone's birthday and I also felt the young lady was doing her best and it was not completely her fault that she could not provide the service expected due to the amount of people she was serving by herself. If you book an event here, you might want to ask how many servers you will have, to make sure you have sufficient serving staff for the amount of people you plan to host. If I go back, I will try sitting in the restaurant to see if my experience is any better but for now, I don't plan...

Horrible service. We waited over an hour and a half for spaghetti and alfredo. Our waitress disappeared for over thirty minutes. I didn’t see her tending to any other tables or running in and out of the kitchen like the other wait staff. My drink sat empty for the majority of this time.They had plenty of staff but most of them were either drinking at the bar or hiding in the kitchen hanging out. When the food finally came out it was lukewarm.

The manager (Zack) seemed unaware that one of his staff was extremely intoxicated and continued to walk in and out of the kitchen while drinking a beer that he would fill up for himself behind the bar every 10 minutes. Not sure if this employee was on the clock as I didn’t see them do any work. The manager himself was intoxicated as they were also downing beers. He also had trouble understanding any of the words I was saying and was unaware that one of their wait staff had disappeared for over 30 minutes.

Extremely disappointed and will never go back to another Amici ever again. This was the most unprofessionally ran restaurant I’ve ever been in.

We visited on a Saturday night, and it was just a really awful experience. We barely saw our waitress and didn't get silverware until 10 minutes after our main courses came out, and we had appetizers. We had to get up to ask the hostess for silverware, to ask the hostess to get the waitress so we could order more drinks and had to go up to the bar to pick up these drinks as they were sitting there getting watered down. The icing on the cake was the children running around the restaurant. It appeared to be the owner’s or manager’s son and another party’s kids running around the whole restaurant chasing each other, weaving through tables that were occupied, and hanging on the wall divider behind us. For the food to be mediocre and overpriced, having bad service and a terrible atmosphere means we will not be returning here. We gave it three tries, but this place isn't it anymore. Shame that The Falls restaurant went out of business. I proposed to my wife at this restaurant and visited for all special occasions , now I'd rather pick up fast food than come here.
