After posting the following review Christopher called me and the trade/upgrade issue described below was resolved VERY quickly. He also assured me the communication issue would be a topic of discussion on his next visit to the Atoka store. Thank you Christopher for addressing my concerns so quickly and completely!! I'm giving the store 3 stars as opposed to the original 1 star due to Christopher's immediate response.
Original Review I was happy to find a T-Mobile store in town when we moved to Atoka because I wanted to upgrade my phone. Unfortunately not all T-Mobile stores operate equally. I went in on March 17th to get a new phone and was told by Tesa and Angela that my trade/upgrade qualified for a 50% discount on the new phone. When I checked my account online on the 20th I found that the scheduled payment for the new phone was considerably higher than I was told at the time I made the decision to commit to the new phone. So I drove into Atoka to the store and spoke with Angela. That’s when I was told that the credit applied to the new phone was only 25%, a $200 difference. Angela took all my information and said she would call later that afternoon. She assured me that she would get the upgrade credit taken care of. At the end of the week I had not heard back so I stopped by the store again. This time I spoke with Ben and was told the same thing, that is, that he would get the situation addressed and call me. Well, it’s been 5 days and still no call from neither Ben nor Angela. The higher cost has now been billed to my account. I’ll stop by the store again but am not hopeful. Honestly I can’t decide if this bunch is being deceitful and pocketing the difference or their just incompetent. I guess it’s time to call T-Mobile and get the situation taken care of. I really did want to like the people at this store but the lack of customer service...
Read moreThe lady manager basically said we we're approved for the new phone transfers for up to $200 dollars per line and even knew we were switching from cricket we're eligible told us it would be about 6-8 weeks before it would be sent to us after calling customer service they said we are not eligible because cricket isn't on their list after the manager at the atoka store said we were eligible and knew we were switching from cricket she is now saying she never told us we were eligible for the promotion if you have to lie to customers to get business you are in bad shape whoever is her boss needs to check up on this store in atoka Oklahoma unless this is company policy to flat out lie to get customers in your store would not advise anyone to do business with this store and people be better off going somewhere else Nothing I hate...
Read moreI can't say enough of how I appreciate the Atoka, OK T-MOBILE store. Teesa is the greatest! If she is busy with another customer I wait until she is free because she is amazing. She seems to know everything mobile! She explains things to me(I don't know much mobile) in a way I understand. She walks me through the steps on my phone for whatever issue I come in for. No, I am not kin to her nor do I know her outside of TMobile. She derserves to be recognized for her invaluable customer service!! I hope she nevers leaves! Also, all the other reps are always friendly & greet me when I enter the store. The store is always so clean & well stocked. It's always a pleasing...
