We were traveling from Texas to Maine as part of our 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue, transporting pups to their forever homes to change their lives for the better. After six days of non-stop driving, we were exhausted and desperately needed a shower.

We stopped at this location hoping to freshen up. I paid $30 to use the shower, which is steep but manageable when you're on the road. However, things quickly went downhill. When my co-driver (who is also my wife) went to shower, the staff demanded we pay another $30, just because she used it too. We've used showers at many other places during rescue transports and have never been charged separately for a co-driver.

Even worse, the staff initially didn’t want to let us shower at all because they didn’t consider our registered nonprofit rescue a "business." That was incredibly disappointing, considering we’re on the road doing good work and simply needed a moment to take care of ourselves.

Thankfully, a kind gentleman behind us saw what was happening and generously paid the extra $30. If not for him, we likely would've left feeling even worse than when we arrived.

All in all, $60 for two people to take a quick shower is outrageous, especially given the attitude we were met with. For a place that caters to people on the road, this experience left a really bad impression. We hope they reconsider how they treat hardworking folks like us...

The experience was exceptional. Finding excellent parking for our semi-truck is a significant advantage of being a team driver. My husband consistently identifies safe locations for us and ensures that these areas are treated with respect. This establishment is well-lit, and they promptly apply salt to the ground to enhance safety. The interior is also well-maintained, and the pleasant aroma is due to the adjacent Italian restaurant, which I highly recommend. The staff is incredibly friendly, and their food is delightful. I enjoyed a freshly baked pasta that was both delicious and served hot, straight from the oven. My husband tried the stuffed lovers dish and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The restroom facilities were clean and well-kept. We visited this location for a Walmart delivery and would recommend it to anyone...

Got there Yesterday at 11:45am to take my 10hrs Off. My Husband is a Truck Driver and I travel with him. When we first got there we got Fuel and signed up for a Team Shower. After my shower I was bringing back my dirty linen when I watched 2 Truck Drivers each buying an 18 Pack of Mordelo Beer. Both were allowed to purchase the beer without their Teammates being in the store with them but when I went to purchase Cigarettes before leaving I had to go and get my Husband to show his ID!? How is it you can buy and consume Alcohol on the property while taking a 10hr break in your Tractor Trailer, but I couldn’t even buy Tobacco without the Cashier seeing my Husbands ID? I think your priorities are...
