I am (was) a regular at Kittyhawk, and boasted about the place - always makes my Fro-Jo perfectly. Twice - I was flat broke and scraped up change to get my Fro-Jo - and this one particular employee took my order, and the drink tasted mostly of cream - hardly any flavor - I NEVER complain, and wasn't intending to complain - (I was offering some constructive criticism, that maybe someone would look at her process) I drove back around because I did not have enough money to go another Aromo-Jo's, and tried to let someone know - they (She) re-made the drink THE SAME EXACT WAY. One other time in between she took my order - and asked about an extra shot, thinking she was going to make it - someone else made it and it was too dark. - TODAY ( only had enough money in all change) - I drove up and she took my order - (I should have asked if she was going to make it - and ask for another shot, but I did not want to take the chance of having it too dark) when I got to the window, another really nice girl I see all the time gave me the fro jo and it was really light again, so i mentioned something to THAT girl, hoping someone would look at her process - instead, she took my drink and gave it back to me stating that she added 2 shots to it. OBVIOUSLY was just as light as it was before - she did not do anything to the drink, and covered for the girl instead. SO - SO - DISAPPOINTED and INSULTED that I would not notice there was anything different about the drink. Read moreI currently visit this aroma Joes location every morning- as a multi store business owner- my commute changes often, because of this, I have gone to four separate aroma Joe’s, hundreds of times. If there was a job for being an aroma Joe’s Sommelier you might as well give me a name tag. I leave this review not because this aromas is good, but because it is the best. Fast, consistent and great service, are a definite. I find this to be a direct reflection of the efforts provided by the day-to-day management of that store name Brooke. As a staff and management trainer myself I can tell she has a keen understanding not only of the financial acumen of the business, but also a deep understanding of how to develop a customer base, and retain talent. I’ve never seen such a dedicated employee, and if she needs a job anytime soon, let it be known she can walk into any of my establishments and have one. Starting pay will be 3 dollars more than whatever they are paying you- clock in time...
