Read moreThe main guy charged me $40 for 8 money orders. It had been a while since I bought a money order so I wanted to check the price, an he said.... four, uh wait, five dollars each. (I knew at the stutter he was lying) Last I bought one money orders were $1/$2. Told my husband when I got home and he pointed out the $1 fee on the side. And the guy charged me $5 each! So he immediately went up the the store and confronted him. Guy was super “confused” and doesn’t “know why that happened” and “I’d bough other things”, two items actually, you know, really complicated. (He quickly agreed to give all of the money back) So count your stuff up before you go because he’ll try to get you. Disappointing because I’m up there 2/3 times a week and they’ve always been very friendly. But absolutely will never support this local...

The low rating comes from its pricing on several of its products... We went in for a snack grab for a family day out in the woods and found that they use a "convience store" pricing, charging $1.90 for a large Gatorade. Gas stations charge $1.50.. While Walmart and Kroger only charge. 80¢.
Several other drinks, chips, soups, and other canned goods were over double the average "store" price. Shop here is you must. But expect to pay a premium for saving 10 minutes...
