Amazon delivery sucks. I routinely have delivery issues. People they hire off the street and don't know what they're getting into decide halfway through that they don't like the job and decide to quit making deliveries I have lost several items that way had to get a refund and reorder I have even watched the delivery people on the map as they get closer and closer up to a block from my house and then turn around and drive in the opposite direction and I never get my package. They need to have a way to communicate with their drivers if something like that happens. I tried to call and turn in a package that was wrongfully delivered to my address and they said I could keep it throw it away Give It Away donate. I was trying to notify the rightful owner of the package which was a mile up the road where her package was to come and get it I have no way of delivering it myself Amazon didn't care they basically somebody paid for something that's never been delivered and it's just lost and delivery how do you run a business like this and keep your customers? Also and most importantly they need new higher up management that have common sense on how to keep your customers happy. If they would just say this item you're ordering can be delivered by tomorrow at 9:00 p.m. and then if it shows up between 4:00 and 8:00 the next morning customers are excited and happy and giving good reviews. But no let's promise to deliver it between 4:00 and 8:00 in the morning and then not deliver it till the next day at 9:00 p.m. and have a pissed off customer. That does not make any sense to me decision making in this business needs to change. One last note when they deliver your package and you're in an RV park they just toss it to any freaking RV even when the lots are labeled and the lot numbers on your package I consistently had to go find my package. They're hiring of delivery drivers...
Read moreThis facility really needs to improve the way they manage drivers and the yard operation. First of all, Amazon should hire professional yard switchers directly instead of relying on 3rd party carriers who are clearly untrained and unprofessional. When I checked in, the yard staff looked careless and when drivers ask them simple questions, they respond in a very rude and disrespectful manner.
Another big issue is the driver lounge and restroom access. I went to the lounge to use the restroom and instead of being helpful, they told me to go park my truck all the way in parking lot 800, which is extremely far from the trucker lounge. This is not only inconvenient but also shows a complete lack of respect for drivers’ time.
The older switcher in the yard especially was unprofessional and rude. The way they treat truckers is unacceptable. Drivers are the ones keeping Amazon running, yet this facility treats them like a problem instead of a partner.
Amazon really needs to pay attention to DEN2. Hire skilled and respectful switchers, provide better access to basic facilities, and treat drivers with the respect they deserve. Until then, this place will continue to leave a very negative impression on every driver that...
Read moreJust to help out any future drivers coming to this location. Be prepared, like most amazons nowadays there are no humans at the entry gate. You will have to check in over a kiosk intercom with a person in another country who you likely wont understand anything they’re saying. Make sure before you get to the gate you have a delivery# either starting or ending in 891. Once you get in the gate you will go in between door 172 and 173. Hanging on the cage will be a cb radio you will have to use to get the attention of whoever is on the floor to come over and get your paperwork and tell you which door to go to, none of which was explained to me by the non English speaking person at the check in gate….hope this...
