Baxton Furniture. This place I found on advertising newspaper, we recently bought a house in Warrenville IL & the furniture warehouse happen to be located like 5 minutes away from us. We were initially looking for a couch and spotted an interesting L shape sectional at a rather good price. My only concern was the color which is white. So we went to the place to check it out. The couch was very nice, compact and firm. Plus you could add additional sections at affordable price for $135 ea. They also had a nice square ottoman but white color bothered the heck out of me as we have a 4 y/o toddler who makes messy mess out of mess. White was definitely not a good choice. Unfortunately white was the only available color.

So we dropped the idea of that couch but found other great pieces to add to our new home such as table with 4 chairs and a bench as a full set. Which turned out beyond believe inexpensive yet sturdy and comfortable, if I’m remembering it correctly with holiday discount of 25% the total for the table set was around $300. Now you can’t beat that price anywhere and I’m telling ya it wasn’t a flimsy looking piece of article. But a good sturdy wooden table in modern contemporary style, just how I like it.

The whole warehouse has modern style furniture, nothing of that old-fashioned heavy wooden looking kind. I liked this place so much that I told of it to all my friends and family members. So about a month later I took my mom there who was looking for new bedside table, she didn’t find what she liked but we ended up getting new buffet in quantity of 2. They only had 1 unit in stock so they discounted us the other floor sample and the total cost with all the discounts for 2 items of furniture was like $180.

We just literally fully assembled the buffet today which had incorrect mirror reflection visual instructions but it’s nothing your imagination couldn’t fix. It’s rather self explanatory so my mom and I (2 females) fully assembled the unit in 2.5 hrs. If gathered buy a man the timing may have reduced by masculine force screwing the nails & hammering them to back wall. But we took our time carefully examining & determining the correct alignment as some parts of the assembly did not have indented marks for the nails.

All in all I really like this store for middle class contemporary style furniture at good affordable price. But they don’t do delivery. You have to use your own means of transportation. Other then that, I highly recommend this furniture warehouse to at least try out their floor samples from beds, to kids, chairs, tables, couch, kitchen, living room, and you name it of...

Do not, I REPEAT DO NOT purchase furniture from this company!

I purchased a section in November of 2021, I was told at that time the section would arrive late December of 2021 or early January of 2022. Early Jan rolls around and no sectional, I call and they now tell me late Feb. Late Feb rolls around and no sectional, they tell me early April. April rolls around an still no sectional, they tell me to check back in May. I call back in late May and they tell me early July. Early July rolls around and they tell me August. August rolls around and they tell me September at the earliest as they don't even have a container number assigned to my order yet. Now keep in mind it's been nearly 9 month and they have raised the price of this sectional on their website a couple times well over what I paid, it is now listed for nearly double the price I paid, this might explain why they had been pressuring me to cancel my order the last couple times I spoke with anyone. Jackie at the Aurora store is completely useless not to mention rude and unprofessional. I ended up finding a sectional elsewhere that was in stock so I cancelled my order. I was told it would take a week for my refund check because they said they can't credit it back to my credit card due to the length of time since purchase. I told them I would pick the check up from their Lombard Corporate location where the checks get cut, I didn't want to wait for it to arrive via snail mail. It's been a week today and now they are telling ,me it can take up 14 days. They've held my money for 9 months interest free and continue to hold my money.

This company is nothing but a bunch of con artists. Absolutely terrible customer service! Month after month of lies and now they continue to lie even after I canceled my order. If you value your time and money I urge you to shop elsewhere. STAY AWAY FROM...

I moved from Chicago to NY recently and my movers incorrectly assembled my bed causing it to break immediately when I sat down on it. I called Baxton to ask about a bed I had purchased from them over 3 years ago so I could purchase the correct parts to repair my bed. I spoke to Ali who was incredibly kind and helpful, going as far as to contact Baxton’s other store to see if they could pull my purchase information. Through her help, I was able to identify my exact bed model and will be having it repaired soon. There was no incentive for her to go out of her way to help me, considering I wasn’t a prospective customer but she had me send her pictures of the bed and worked with me to identify the bed. It’s rare these days to experience good customer service (I’ve been receiving awful customer service my moving company) and I’d encourage everyone to use Baxton.
