TLDR: Love this store so much I have to update my years old review. I grew up in Denver and I have no idea how I found out about this store. Ironically most likely after I came back from the East Coast. This store reminds me of a small fishing store in rural Alaska. You can tell that the fishing store was legit because the people that worked there had industry experience, the niche commerical fishing brands, and because actual commercial fisherman who trust their lives on their gear frequented the shop. That’s the vibe I got from the store but in regards to Ag and ranching, not fishing LOL. I’ve been visiting this store off and on for about 5 years now. I go for jeans (favorite place for some raw Stranglers in 13MWZ and 936DEN) and boots and straw hats. But let’s focus on the boots. They unequivocally have the best selection in Colorado and maybe the West for sizes. I have narrow popsicle feet and it's a nightmare finding 11.5A or 11.5AA boots. However they had a fair amount of 11.5A boots on sale. They have a ton of AB boots and do offer the make up option for AB to make the style in your size if it's not in stock, including 11.5AA. Does take a while though. While they do have other brands like Hondo, Olathe, Tony Lamas, they have a more extensive collection of Anderson Beans. I believe almost all of their AB designs are store exclusives as that’s how AB operates. They have giraffes, arapaima, ostrich, elephant, hippo, and many other types of leather for dress and work. They also have a great selection of straw hats. Overall, if you want a pair of boots come here and you'll find the perfect fit and style. Lastly this mom and pop shop has amazing customer service. There was a minor cosmetic QC issue on my boots. Which I didn’t see until after wearing them. They offered to send them back to the manufacturer for them to fix it but let me know it would take a month. Which is fine because that’s not the store’s fault. But I needed the boots now and couldn’t wait. After seeing my reluctance to let these boots go for a month, they gave me a discount immediately on my card even though it was NO FAULT of their own! There are three things I buy from this store maybe every couple years: boots, American straws, and Wranglers. I buy them every couple of years because it takes years for those 3 items purchased at this store to break down. Buy American and sustainable when you can and support your local stores and neighbors.

I am by no stretch of the imagination a cowboy. Nor, do I want to play one on TV. But I have always wanted a pair of boots. And for years I've stopped by Western stores all of the country with my travels. I stopped into what I thought was a hole in the wall, to find three ladies that went out of their way to make sure not only that leave with a pair of boots, but I left with a pair of boots that I loved, fit me, work for my personality, and didn't make everybody around me think I was trying to pretend to be something I'm not. A special shout-out to Olivia! She took a city boy, and made him feel comfortable in a room full of cowboys. This place is the real deal, and unequivocally, without exception, the friendliest and most gracious group of people I've ever met any Western store. Thank you! You made this city boy feel like he does have the right to wear a good pair of cowboy boots.

Great customer service! Was looking for a new Stetson hat and Michelle went out of her way to find a particular model I was looking for in the stock room. When they didn’t have the one I wanted she offered to order it for me. Their hat shaper reshaped my straw hat while I was waiting and did not charge for it even though I did not buy it from them. Really appreciated that! Wish they had more hats in their showroom to choose from but would definitely come back here because of the friendly and helpful staff!

Went in for a hat fitting and was instantly greeted before the front door even closed behind me. Michele is very friendly and knowledgeable, eager to please. Pancho is a legendary hat fitter but honestly everyone does a great job. I had my justin bent rail fitted by the owner and she was beyond professional. She has a keen eye for detail and it shows with flying colors. Prices on some clothing are steep, but so is the quality. They do carry things for all price ranges. Boots, buckles, hats and whatever else you may need.

Once you go into an actual western wear store like this, you may never find yourself at boot barn or sheplers again. Support a local brick and mortar business and you won't regret the treatment you get here. The only problem is that you may come out of the store with more than you...
