Avon Lake's Old Firehouse Community Center — Local services in Avon Lake

I loved my day there on Friday October 28th. I went there at 10 am - 12 pm for their creative needles craft that day. We meet every Friday morning at 10 to 12 in the back room off of the kitchen and the dining area.

This group of fun, humourous supportive and creative ladies are some of my lifelong friends. We have been meeting here for many, many years. We range in all ages, races and, levels of experience in all needle crafts. We give advice and lessons to of those who are willing to listen and learn.

We take craft supply donations of any kind and monetary donations would be greatly appreciated by us all.

Some of our members and I have tables at local holiday bizzars and craft shows. At schools, libraries, senior centers, assisted living and nursing home facilities every year. Haven't had any since 2020 because of COVID-19.

But they are starting to be in affect this year in our county and everywhere else in the entire world.

Please come and join us beginners are welcomed and some of us make things for local charities in huge quantities all year long. Let's have a happy holiday season this...
