I walked into my local piggly wiggly today and left in tears. I walked in carring an old laundry detergent bottle full of coins. My intention was to use the coin star but it was out of order so I turned around and walked out. As I am exited the store I over hear an employee scream out that I was stealing laundry detergent. I immediately walked back in and shook my bottle to let everyone hear there was change in my bottle and to let everyone know I wasn't stealing. Mind you it's lunch time and there are lines of people checking out. A lady shook her hand at me and basically wouldn't acknowledge me. I was so embarrassed and walked out went home to my husband crying because the situation was so embarrassing. We went back to speak to the store manager but he acted as though I made the whole thing up. A business should never treat their customers in such a way.
