Weis Markets — Local services in Bald Eagle Township

This store was awesome. Im not from this area, we come up this way to go to our cabin about an hour away but I needed to stop for some groceries for dinner. This store was great. Most tge items I purchased ended up being on sale. So prices were great. My 4 year old was having a tantrum because he wanted a webkinz stuffed animal so we took it up to see how much it was. The cashier checked and said wow thats crazy- then she found some kind of coupon to apply to the purchase of the item so both me and my son were very happy. The store was very clean and organized and every employee I spoke with was very friendly and knowledgeable about the location of products. I wish more stores were like this. The store closes too early, not good for people who work odd hours. I used to go Sundays around 8pm but that’s now when they close, I was shocked when the loudspeaker said the store is closing soon at 7:50PM. Closing at 9PM is also too early during the week, I work 10+ hour days and travel a lot for work so it’s difficult to find a time to get to the store now. The other weis store in Lock Haven also closes early or I’d go there, I don’t give my money to walmart. Lunching here. I am a vegetarian and was looking for something other than an egg salad sandwich. Very rude deli counter person told me it would take 20 minutes to make me a cheese sandwich and that there were lots of salads and sushi. All the sushi had fish, all the salads had chicken! Perhaps they don’t understand the concept of vegetarian? Yes I ate an egg salad sandwich, but I was disappointed that it was the only option and that the staff was rude and inflexible.
