I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but after the experience I had at Ruby Tuesday recently, I couldn’t not say something—especially about our incredible server, Sarah.
From the moment we walked in, Sarah made us feel genuinely welcomed, like we were more than just customers—like we were guests in her own home. She had this upbeat energy that made the atmosphere feel warm and comfortable, but she wasn’t overbearing or pushy. Just perfectly attentive and incredibly kind.
She took the time to go over the menu with us and made great recommendations, especially when we were indecisive. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and everything she suggested turned out to be spot on. She was also on top of every detail—drinks were refilled before we had to ask, empty plates were cleared without any disruption to our conversation, and she checked in just the right amount to make sure we were enjoying ourselves.
Now for the food—absolutely amazing. Everything came out hot, fresh, and well-plated. You could tell the kitchen was on point that night, and Sarah’s timing with everything was seamless. We had burgers, ribs, and a few sides from the salad bar—each dish was delicious and clearly made with care. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor, and the burgers were juicy and cooked exactly as we ordered.
What really stood out, though, was Sarah’s ability to read the table. She knew when to crack a joke, when to let us enjoy our meal, and how to make the entire experience feel smooth and effortless. You could tell she genuinely cared about the people she was serving—not just as a job, but as a passion. It’s rare to come across someone with that kind of natural hospitality.
We left full, happy, and already talking about coming back—and that’s entirely thanks to Sarah and the team in the kitchen. If you’re heading to Ruby Tuesday, I highly recommend asking for her section. She truly killed it and turned a simple dinner into a memorable night.
Thank you, Sarah! You made our visit one we’ll be raving about for a while. Keep...
Read moreWent back inside to ask for parmesan sauce for my New Orleans plate because it had no sauce, when we had ordered extra sauce. The female manager said she personally checked it. I said there is no sauce you're more than welcome to check. She stated that extra sauce would be a charge, and I said that's fine. When she went to get the sauce I called my wife out in the vehicle and told her what was going on. Wife was going to bring the plate back in. The female manager came out, and I told her my wife was coming in and the female manager said no, no, I believe you sir. The female manager then stated that the cooked thought she had said, no sauce. Almost every time i've ordered this as pickup or carry out, they get the order incorrect. I'm used to it! I just get it fixed and go on my way. Tonight was different because they way the manager handled it. First, she said she personally checked it. Secondly, telling me I would be charged for extra sauce. Third, saying I believe you sir! After she found out the cook misheard her. This is bad customer service and bad management skills. The positive out of this situation! Got to see Mandy. Mandy has always been polite and given excellent customer service. This was not worth...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I ordered the Salmon, after waiting an appropriate amount of time, I was told it would be another 7-8 minutes unless I wanted to change my order. Since we had already waited a normal amount of time, and I ordered what I wanted we elected to wait. We should have left then, about 15 minutes later I was told it would be just a few minutes. Another 15 minutes pass, and we are told 7-8 minutes. Another 10 minutes and I made the suggestion that whoever was trying to catch the Salmon should try different bait. With that comment the manager was summoned, she apologized, and said it was her fault, that our waitress was doing what she was told. I didn't care who's fault it was, as a customer I don't appreciate being lied to. I came out during the apologie that they were waiting on a delivery truck. If I had simply been told that they were out of Salmon when I ordered, we wouldn't have wasted an hour, and home hungry. If this is normal it's easy to see why this restaurant chain is in trouble! The only reason I gave it 1 star is it wouldn't let me give none. A big thumbs...
