Writing here to discuss my negative experience as the above company in dealing with an individual named Eric. I had a reservation at a property to attend my sister's wedding. I was instructed by this person via text message (off the Airbnb app) to cancel my reservation at my stay. I was extremely hesitant as the refund policy on Airbnb was very clearly stated I was past the point of receiving any refund. I was ensured I would receive a refund anyways, and to my detriment I cancelled. I requested a refund multiple times and have not received it.
Requiring a client to go through multiple extra steps for an inconvenience not caused by the client just for the client to get their money back is objectively bad customer service. I recommend exercising due diligence in regards to this customer service issue when choosing to use this company to manage your rental property.
UPDATE: After escalating the issue with Airbnb I was given the following message: " I also want to inform you that the next time a host asks you to cancel a reservation for any reason, please allow the host to cancel the reservation on their end. This will ensure that you receive a full refund immediately. Alternatively, you can call Airbnb customer support for assistance.
