Went yesterday. The place had a very strong our at the stables and on the trail. The people were mainly nice mainly the tour guide. It was my first time riding alone. I have riden before a years ago but I've always been led. I liked that they got me on the horse and told me what to do and made sure I was alright on my own. I said yes. I was good. The lady that handles payments and also led us on the trail was amazing and very friendly and asked me during the ride if I was okay and if I was having fun. The trail could have been cleaned. The ride was also supposed to be an hour. It was less than an hour. And 40$ for that is alright but could be lower. Several dogs greeted me and they were super friendly and wanted me to rub their belly. The overall experience was alright but the cleanliness could have been better. Also the guy that walked along with us I guess because if was our first time or if they always do that just seemed to be annoyed and didn't seem very happy. That kind of upsets me when someone is not happy because it gets me to me. I mean I don't want to be burdening anyone and that's what I felt like. The trail wasn't much of a scenic trail. The only scenic part if the trail was at the mountain view. And when they took p ictires of us i wish they horses were spread apart too so we could get pictures individually with the mountains. I was in the back of the group so my picture didn't even have a good mountain view behind me. The horses also just wanted to stay close to each other. My horse Harley had an issue with brakes but that was alright. Cleanliness and the issue of the guy not being very nice was the main issue for me. I had fun but really wouldn't recommend it to anyone that have an issue with...
Read moreOur family had the most wonderful time with Mike and his horses. Mike and his mom paired the 6 of us with the right horse with our individual horseback riding experiences. The hour long mountain trail is so beautiful! The horses were great! Everyone had control of their horse, not just a trail where the horses are on auto pilot, we all learned more about riding a horse! When they wanted to stop and take a snack break, you pulled up on the reins and gave them a little kick to keep moving, (sharing for new horse back riders 😀) also Mike would call the horse’s name “come on Sugar (my horse 😀). This family owned farm will not disappoint. Give them a call! This was one of our highlights...
