Connemara Cottage — Local services in Banner Elk

This is the coziest and lovely little rental I have ever stayed at! I was initially skeptical about it being a studio - but was completely wrong. The space is well utilized and the bathroom is separate. The cabin has all the amenities and thoughtful touches. The owners are kind and check-in to make sure you have everything. We didn't want to leave! It’s pet friendly & people friendly… geographically desirable - right on the mountain for early-to-rise snowboarders and quick access to Banner Elk and Las Nubes (ask for their tamales!!!). If there were more than 5-stars - I’d give them more! Thank you for making our stay so lovely. Look forward to many more...

If I could move into this cottage I would! Big enough to have everything I needed, small enough to be that right-kind of cozy! We had some horrible weather while staying here- but the cottage stayed nice and warm every night, and I never worried about my safety. Spent 5 nights here- beyond terrific experience!
